    Honda used to be the BMW of Japan, now it's just one generic crapbox after another. So glad Mazda decided to stay relatively small, it's better for quality control.

    I have a 2021 CX-5 Carbon Edition Turbo w/ AWD. It still feels very new to me, since it only has 3200 miles on it. I've already changed the oil twice (800 miles and 2,000 miles). I'll wait till I get 5,000 miles next time. Whenever I see it, for some reason, the word "SWEET!" always pops into my head. It has a turbo, but I don't beat it at all. The power is there if I need it. Since it was sold in the U.S., it doesn't have iStop (i.e. Engine Stop/Start), and since it has a turbo, it doesn't have Cylinder Deactivation. *ZOOM! ZOOM!*

    How are the seats, the bottoms look wider than the CX8 and 9, which are very narrow in the hip region and painful after a few minutes of driving. These look more comfortable. Are these different than those units and are they more comfortable?

      @jaywalkur  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There's a world of difference between this and the Kia Stinger when it comes to performance. It's not even close. If you really want a high performance vehicle, the Stinger is the way to go. But if a bit of performance+practicality is what you're looking for, then it's the CX5

    A very nice car that has lost its luster due to rising fuel prices. Mazda has to bring in their powerful Hybrid models asap in order to catch up with their competitors.

    the engine power feels great on the CX9, i bet having the 2.5 turbo on a lighter vehicle like the CX5 is much better, or does it feel overpowered?

    I still find Mazda in a weird position, the cars are premium quality, at a not so premium price (compared to Lexus) while the brand name is not something to aspire for (as compared tk Bmws and Mercs). I still rank Subarus above them.

      Agree. The infotainment is one of this car’s 2 main downfalls. Fuel economy is the other. I have the 2023 Turbo and I love the car to bits but the infotainment is I agree with Sir Jay, the thing I dislike the most.

      @@francisxavier2014 I also got the 2023 turbo. Sonic Silver. It has the bigger screen. I have no issue with the infotainment system. If I use the navigation I use it with voice commands. I tend to just listen to the DAB radio while driving. Fuel economy is not great but I don’t drive far these days. Plenty of Zoom Zoom from the engine 💪🏼
