Nice work on this build! I haven't figured out my own way of fixing these so I've just been using norespawn's builds for these broken houses. Admittedly, I'm not using any mods on my builds so I guess it makes it a bit challenging to get the houses and snapping to work right for me. Again, great work!

Thanks! I normally enjoy trying to patch up and repair the ruined settlement buildings (the exception being those at Costal Cottage and Murkwater) and remember this being a lot of fun to do. Of course Place Everywhere was a massive help, doubt it would have been as enjoyable without it! 😉🤣

I fear I am probably the wrong person to ask, as I gave up struggling with the vanilla building mechanics a long time ago and so not that familiar with them. I expect you would be able to build something similar looking although would probably require quite a few changes.
Thanks! I build using the Place Everywhere mod and use its precise movement feature (arrow keys on the NumPad) to lower the floor at that part in the video 👍.
That's an amazing build. What mods are you using? In vanilla it's so hard to repair broken homes. Sometimes I just build a new one on the property. It's often just easier.

I tend to enjoy trying to repair or patch up the broken structures in settlements and remember this one being a lot of fun to do. Others not so much with the one at Coastal Cottage taking many failed attempts before getting something I was happy with, and so far have never been able to work with the ruined house at Murkwater Construction 😔.
Thanks, great to hear you are enjoying the builds! I reset the size bar using the weapon storage glitch. Simply drop some weapons within the settlement (Gamma Guns work great for this), enter build mode and then store each of the dropped weapons. Each weapon stored will slightly reduce the size bar, as the weapons have been stored you can then collect them from the workbench and repeat as needed. ...Wow... I always hated that ruined house so ended up deleting it with mods... but you did an AMAZING job fixing it! I love it!

Interesting approach to that ruin.
I guess it’s more of hiding the eyesore under tons of stuff rather than a repair, but I am pleased with how it turned out 😃

On the ruined house, why didn't you just delete it?
I am not using any scrapping mods so removing it was not an option. I also quite like how this new structure looks built around the ruin as it's base.
