there are several reasons why your killbox works when it shouldn't that is a small raid those are tribals you are using combat extended, which makes it so that guns are way more lethal and effective, while your pawns have a severly increased accuracy
Later in the game, you can change to a better turret that you can place in the back line acting like a sniper, all the pawn will have armor in later stage of game and you even will have a rocket launcher turret that’s way more deadlier
