Thanks to @bignorthernbear for sharing his story on how he has changed his lifestyle and managed and is now thriving with AFIB. Danny discovered the healing powers of walking and now makes exercise a big part of his physical conditioning. Danny used walking to help get his health back. I'm giving away the first two chapters of my Amazon Best-Seller Walking for Health and Fitness. Check it out: tinyurl.com/YT-whfchapters

Since doing some exercise and walking regularly I have gone from having an attack every 6 to 8 weeks to not having one for over 21 months.

I'm 79 years old. I have afib. Am on one medication for it, but would love to control it naturally. I do love to walk. I normally walk three to six miles daily with ease, sometimes even 8 or nine miles. I have started doing some light exercises also. So far I am feeling great. Hate meds. The potential sides effects are so scary.

Quite intersting to watch this. I agree about walking ("a low barrier to entry" hahah!). In my opinion, what is underestimated is the anxiety and stress created by medication and operations. Doctors recommend all kinds of tests and screening and medication and never seem to take into account the stress such things will cause and stress is a major carcinogen and Afib trigger!. Somewhere in you tube a person relates how he had a stroke while being ablated and is grateful that by chance doctors were to hand to deal with his stroke!! Didnt occur to him that the abaltion caused the stroke.

@@simplysoulenergy7248 man, you need to get an ablation ( convergent hybrid ablation) asap. AFib leads to heart failure . I know cause I have it. The longer you stay in AFib the harder it is to stop it. Go talk to a electro physiologist my friend. Your cardiologists knows this. I'm having an ablation done this Wednesday! My heart is at EF 35 now cause of the AFib.

AFib only gets worse with time. Need convergent hybrid ablation maybe. Especially since it's permanent AFib or persistent AFib.

I had an ablation. In Canada it doesn’t cost anything. I’m still hoping it worked. My Afib still come back quite a bit. It’s only been
      2 1/2 since the ablation.
