100 Gecs is basically just an embrace of all that scrappy, silly Internet culture, like an affectionate parody. They’re the types of guys to unironically praise Soulja Boy, and somehow that’s cool.
@Hash Brown I saw them at a local festival (2013). They played both days I think when like no other bands I knew at the time were on and it was quite....something
Before you know it you'll be watching a random streamer playing obscure video game you played 10 years ago with one or two other people watching the stream.
1. Never seen Order of Elijah or Puppies. Amazing. 2. Brokencyde is still around and making music. 3. Thanks for uploading here. I have a very busy life and I like the highlights. Appreciate you, dude.
i sincerely missed you making content. always got a good laugh out of your stuff and this is no exception. definitely gonna be checking out the streams.
I actually got respect for the "scene"-culture when it comes to Crunkcore in general. Just some happy teens that wanted to express themselves and make whatever type of songs they want. There are a couple of interviews with Brokencyde and they seem like really chill & funny guys.
That was actually a lot of fun. I don't really watch too many streams but I love just chill streams like these where the host actually keeps up with chat to an extent. Soon you'll be a pro Jarrod 🤘
I still love brokencyde. I still love the cocky vibes and the flow of the beats. I don’t listen to it as much as I used to, but I’ll still crank it up on my drives sometimes before the gym.
Or the ones like me who were like "bro u guys don't no reel emo muzak, four u haff no clue hoo Rites of Spring or Embrace or Sunny Day Real Estate or Cap 'n Jazz R! Dass the reel emo muzak". God I was stuck up lmao.
I remember being 14 listening to brokencyde and thinking how "hardcore" I was and how deep these songs were lol I didnt even know wtf crunk was until a friend told me what it was lmaoooo 😂 good times lol
Oh god, These Hearts. I remember seeing my friend's band open for them back in high school. we even got a picture with them and everything. Honestly as lolbad as TH's music is... that was kind of a fun night ngl.
Hi... MDE here, um the ETF comparisons, sheer coincidence. In other news if anyone enjoyed our music we’re back from our hiatus with two new singles out now.
Still majorly jam your guys' albums to this day! House of Rats and Under the Gun stand the test of time. So stoked to hear you guys have new music! Will check it out
One of my favorite moments at warped tour was when an irish punk rock band *can't remember the band* got the crowd to shout " f**k you Brokencyde!" While they were on the nextdoor stage, so good, lol.
I played with Crossing the Delaware at a battle of the bands. They seemed like swell guys. This was also like 8 years ago anyway great video took me down nostalgia road!
Dang dude, I remember These Hearts. I was at a show and they were passing out cd samples. Not really my jam anymore, but a nice trip down memory lane. 😂

Crazy for me being such a huge BrokeNCYDE fan...
That JB flex at 3:51 though 👊
Wow, that last one was Shane Dawson as a band lol
is it even music? why do my ears bleed, and why did i watch it.
for contxt i was at a brokencyde concert i... deeply regret my actions as a teenager
Brokencyde walked so 100 Gecs could run
To be honest...you're not wrong. At all.
100 Gecs is basically just an embrace of all that scrappy, silly Internet culture, like an affectionate parody. They’re the types of guys to unironically praise Soulja Boy, and somehow that’s cool.
I mean..... ya
Brilliant
@Hash Brown I saw them at a local festival (2013). They played both days I think when like no other bands I knew at the time were on and it was quite....something
I remember unironically listening to Brokencyde and it brings me so much pain inside.
Did it.... Break you on the inside???
Lmaooooo
Fr 😂😭
Bro brokencyde does and still has bops
I’ve already gotten over the cringing over my teen music phase. Emo rap the kids are listening to is just MySpace crunkcore 100%
I think we've learned, that there will always be just a tiny Crunkcore movement lurking, as long as teen angst is a thing.
Brokencyde walked so every “Emo” rapper could run
Gotta respect the OG's
Fr, basically Scarlxrd before Scarlxrd
BC13 will never die

Ok, that explains why their music is so bad then.
Ah, brokencyde
The Beatles of their time
Nooo
yes in my household it was 😂😂
as a brokencyde fan and a crunkcore lover in general, i wouldn't consider most music in the genre "good" i just know that i like it.
He started jamming to crunkcore ironically and then he couldn’t stop.
semi-regular streams with semi-semi-regularly edited highlights posted to youtube is something I am behind 100000%
I second this 100000000%
Yo when he said rEeEeeeEeee rEEEEeEeeeee i felt that
Its bree bree
I thought it was reprieve 🤷🏾♂️
He tried at least.

Just don't _ever_ under any circumstances, watch a vtuber. Regardless of if you're a weeb or not it's like a fucken _plague._
You will
Dont do it, you will be simped in no time
Me: “Jarrod you give me puppies, puppies, puppies in my heart!”
Jarrod: “I’m calling the police” 😂😂😂

But we like good music around here
Same bro, I started to respect them a lot when I started seeing interviews
I actually like their music.
@@masoneverdeen9215 same tbh
@@Max_Jacob so is freedom of expression.
Brokencyde are kind of what got me into the stuff I ended up moving on to. Modern Day Escape, Architects, The Bunny The Bear, Erra etc.
That was actually a lot of fun. I don't really watch too many streams but I love just chill streams like these where the host actually keeps up with chat to an extent. Soon you'll be a pro Jarrod 🤘
Me: "Mom can we play Entombent of a Machine by Job for a Cowboy?"
Mom: "We have Job for a Cowboy"
The Job for a Cowboy at home: 1:51
I still love brokencyde. I still love the cocky vibes and the flow of the beats. I don’t listen to it as much as I used to, but I’ll still crank it up on my drives sometimes before the gym.
This actually brought me so much happiness.
There were two types of emos in highschool that brought the cringe. The Brokencyde kids and The never shout never kids.
This is absolutely correct.
God I was both. No wonder I had no friends😅
I was both 😭🤣

This video was extremely enjoyable. Hope you keep throwing highlights up here!
The Order of Elijah looked like a discount Upon a Burning Body lmao
hyper pop basically is crunk core with house music
Ok I'm convinced, I'll watch your streams
So glad I was here for this stream! Was fucking hilarious. Thank you Jarrod and welcome to Twitch :)
I’d be down for watching more of these twitch highlights 😁
Please keep doing these!
That brokencyde thumbnail pic gave me whiplash. Dark times
So glad you randomly popped into my feed. This video was fricken HILARIOUS. hahahaha!
Surprised he didn't talk about Family Force 5. They're like the definition of crunkcore.
But they actually have one or two songs that are worth a listen
@@ShellShock794 yeah, i was a pretty big fan of them when i was like 13 lol
somehow they were fine enough to listen, for real

Holy shit I’ve been trying to remember who These Hearts were for like a year.
BC13 members stepped on the stage. Tilda Swanson was there to greet them.
"You are five years too early."
I unironically love These Hearts haha
'revenge sixtimes' cracked me up
I still jam out to BrokENCYDE. idgaf 🤷🏻♀️ I haven’t stopped listening to music I listened to in middle school.

Lmaooooo, I knew these hearts back in the day. Pretty cool guys, played a show with them.
9:31 lmfao. “PUPPIES”
Also the Crossing the Delaware opening sounds like the opening for Shoot the Girl First's Last Breath For A Capulet.

With out CrunkCore & bands like BrokeNCYDE we would not have any of the rap music we have today...
When I first read this, my gut reaction was to say fuck off. But it’s so accurate 😂
