'Good people can be made to do outrageous things if they overstay in places of provocation ' After realizing this, I walked out of a 12 year marriage without looking back. A narcissist can be outsmarted but his/ her narcissistic behaviour can never be taken away. If you're in a relationship with one, please run for your soul.
    Thank you Benjamin 👏

Narcissist are the hardest people to break up with and if you get that chance run for your life!!what I still don't understand is if they know whether they're Narcissist eish this people are so inhuman!!the worst part you can do to yourself is going back to then you're get more than what they did to you!!

Thanks Zulu your content has been soo helpful to me..It's now 2weeks since I walk away from a narcissistic man.The earlier you notice the red flags the better before the damage is detrimental. I felt I was living his life and not mine, this was the worst mistake of betraying myself.I needed to be me and have my life back.I would rather be single with a peace of mind rather than having to go through emotional ,verbal and mental abuse which eventually makes one to sink slowly into depression.

Parents please, if your spouse is a narcissist for the kids sake, LEAVE, kids raised by narcissists and enabler spouses are traumatized and damaged, it's unnecessary , LEAVE we will thank you when we are grown.

@@chepkemoijudith4951 please we intercede for your poor children. You have no idea how limiting and damaging that experience is for the kids especially as they become teenagers and adults because the trauma they internalised as kids, it resurfaces harder and now they start battling the psychological consequences leading to (addiction, depression, promiscuity etc)

So true love and relationships for me will never be the same. I would rather be myself and happily enjoying life. I am content and not willing to ever take the risk of being involved with a narcissistic man again. Yes it is a prison break going back to life takes time. Mindset emotions and everything have to be reprogrammed. Sad funny but true.

I also think this is not emphasized enough they also target people who already have low self esteem, they already have come from backgrounds where they have been raised by narcs , experienced abuse as children are vulnerable to the tentacles of narcs. so you are not wired for healthy relationships you dont even know something is wrong, its start to make sense after you become self aware and notice that kumbe healthy relationships can be achieved. people have experienced traumatic events and for a long time that was there norm. thats why some people realize themselves after 20-30 years cause imagine getting from such a background you tend to attract to what is familiar a narc which is very familiar to you. but this is not meant to discourage them healing is possible and even for those who cant leave those for various reasons there are ways in which you can manage your expectations in these relationships. start working and researching on the internet about such relationships.

Breaking up with a narcissist is no ordinary breakup, it's a prison break. You must plan to leave without your partner knowing nothing about it.
When you leave, prepare for the aftermath. Migrate to a different environment if you have to.
