Most people who are currently in India don’t understand the perspective of people who are already in Canada. For example: If you’re coming in Ontario, you need to be highly skilled and have to aim for a job which pays you 80-90k a year. Further your wife/husband should be earning at the same level in order to save for the downpayment. If you have a solid plan only then think about coming to Canada.

As a Canadian born, 15 years ago Canada was different compared to today. Canada in the 70s, 80s, 90s is different after Trudeau came into power.
I disagree with you saying there is jobs. What kind of jobs, minimum wage vs high skilled jobs? Nowadays it hard to get a part time jobs regardless of any fields. Employers have huge expectation. Highly skilled jobs - if you are doctor in India and coming to be doctor in Canada then you have repeat the education to be full licensed. There is young born Canadian who are educated having a hard time finding a job, owning an house, living in their parents basements. Also if you are POC don't think about receiving call back for an interview. Look up job name discrimination . There is so many stories of immigrants with Phd working at Subway. Most Indian immigrants or Indian international students depending on their skills lack English skills as well which makes it hard to pass interviews as well.
Cost of living - Yes, there is inflation everywhere. However, Toronto is currently experiencing high rate of homelessness. A one bedroom is $2500. One problem with Canada is wages regardless if you are highly skilled or not , the wages is not going to pay your bills. There is so many protest that occurred in Toronto about wages (ex pcac strike and cra strike etc). There is also real estate scam and mortgage scam. Watch CBC marketplace . Moving outside of GTA and Vancouver is not going to solve issues. These small town are going increasing their renting cost for an apartment . Owning a condos cost more. There is 5 to 6 Indian students cramped in a one bedroom and paying rent each. You want to live in this kind of shithole. Look up CBC marketplace rental. Look up video on International Indian students saying they were lured into coming to canada. I believed it's the students fault to trust these recruiters and come to a country not researching about. At the same time Canada fault for having diploma mills. Look up CBC marketplace rental scam, mortgage scam, real estate scam.
Health Care - It's collapsing. Family doctors are retiring, and none of the family doctors are taking new patients. Those living in Canada for 60 years have hard time finding family doctors because their family doctors have been retired. Again look at the news. The waiting list to see a doctor or specialist is long. Insurance doesn't cover up most. Look up travel insurance. Emergency room waiting is long usually the doctor would be prescribe any medication or don't allow to see a specialist. Mental health crisis is huge and most counselling involves money. Drugs, dental care, eye care are not covered by OHIP
Crime rate/ sexual Assault - I grew up in a neighbourhood where gun violence was huge. There is TTC crime attacks, stabbing stranger, woman was lit on fire. There was international Indian student who stabbed a man. Look up Inderdeep Singh Gosal. There is also international Indian students who was shot while going to work. There is stories about sexual assault at TTC and sidewalk. Some are crimes committed by new Indian immigrants who most 2nd generation find them annoying.
There is also 2nd generation ( Indian, Sri Lankan , Bangaladesh and Pakistani ) who were born and raised in Canada. Most of them have ethnic name who have MBA from UOFT can't land a job. LOOK up marketplace job discrimination. You're an immigration consultant and you're going to give false promises to their audience. Canada is not what it used to used to be and there is so many people who are unemployed especially immigrants and young born Canadian POC. In the 70s, you can work a minimum wage jobs and pay for your house but not anymore. The problem with most Indian immigrants is they are not doing their research and come here and start to whine about everything. There is so many scam from Indian immigrants in Canada such as real estate scam, mortgage scam, Indian astrologer (fucking hate them), CRA scam, car theft etc. Go watch Fifth estate and CBC marketplace . Mc Donalds and Tim Hortons managers are only employing Indians which is making white people really mad. Also don't fall for those instagram reel or tik Tok about Canada.
Canada is broken due to false promises of leader, corruption and etc. Canada is one of the most depressing country in the world. During the pandemic, so many nurses and doctors left the country due to wages. So yeah,
I'm not being negative. It's the truth. I'm also not discouraging people to come here. Just do your research. stop listening to immigration consultant who get paid to say things, tik Tok, instagram reels.

Very insightful comment. Can I ask you something please? I have recently had a consultation with an immigration consultant. They are telling me that the best way to immigrate to Canada is to get a job. They are making it seem as if getting a job from outside Canada couldn't be easier. Are they being dishonest in your opinion?

    • @ashelythas7017

I don't know much about immigration to Canada because I'm not an immigrant
You can apply for jobs outside of Canada. However, you need be a permanent resident to be eligible to work in Canada. You need SIN card to work. Most employer wants someone to come for an interview and start soon as possible physically. Most Canadian employers will not hire you if you do not have a valid visa or work permit. You you will have to be in Canada physically. Depending on the job, there is so many steps to get a job. For example, interviews, reference check, background check etc.
You can apply through Express Entry, Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program.

    Hi Sahil,
I've received a Letter of Advice to Apply from Manitoba as I've a connection to the province which is my sister. My sister lives in Winnipeg. In my Expression of Interest, I've claimed 200 points for the Manitoba connection as my sister is a permanent resident and resides in the capital of Winnipeg. However, Manitoba gives 50 additional regional immigration points if your destination in Manitoba is outside of the capital of Winnipeg. I chose my intended destination in Manitoba as Morden to claim additional 50 points, my sister is willing to help me in the settlement plan.
My question is, am I eligible for the 50 points for regional immigration as my intended destination in Manitoba is Morden, although my sister lives in Winnipeg ?
I got the LAA in the recent draw #177. Cut off was 616 and my score was 619. Kindly suggest if we can proceed with a full application, based on the details I provided. I would really appreciate your response.

If new migrants continue to come in Canada, then , house rent and inflation both will increase. As a Banker , I fear with such a drastic mortgage interest rate changes with in a year can eventually cause mortgage collapse like 2008 in US. I don't know why canadian banks allowed people to take more loan on increase valuation of property price this is suicidal.

I wish this guy looked at a historical graph of disposable income vs housing/ rental costs for US vs Canada before making a video like this. Forget US, even for a job of similar description in white collar jobs for India vs Canada, the percentage of income that goes into rental costs in Canada is at least twice or greater in Canada as compared to India. Use data to back your theory. Not feelings.

Actually tons are jobs are available for the people who are highly skilled or if they are experienced in fishing, cutting woods for 8 hours or if they can be a night security guard.. What’s my opinion is that if you’re planning to go Canada please think twice because you are going to invest either your’s or your parents harden money. Rather than just going to abroad you can work on your skills in which you think you are interested and passionate here in India only and then if you feel confident in it you can also invest some capital into your work/skill to move at next level… 🤞🏻

Your comment about Europe and UK is completely wrong. You should not be doing marketing of a country just to sustain your business of pulling population. For your information, UK provides visa sponsorship and it has been since 2020. Germany and many European countries have huge manpower shortage just like your Canada and they provide PR within 2-3 years. You get a job directly in the UK and Germany sitting in India, then come and worl for 2-3 years and eventually get citizenship within 7-8 years. How can substantiate your statement that Europe is not sustainble.
In fact it is not only you. Every vlogger like you for that matter try marketing the country for which they vlog. I have seen Indian vloggers in Germany defaming Canada as if Canada is the worst place to live. The fact is that you guys could not fare well in your home country and now managed to survive by coming to Canada. What are you doing exactly? Just collating information from multiple govt. sources/ websites and making those available for the viewers. What is rocket science about that?

Well done. And remember everyone watching this, the correct verb is 'move' to another place, not 'shift'. "Shifting means tiny movements in one place, like 'shifting in your chair.' Too many people use the verb 'shift' to talk about 'moving' to a new country.

RIP logic 😅. if you are not getting good healthcare you should move outside of big cities is sounds like our money is not loosing value but US dollars is getting stronger. I had an experience for emergency services in past. It was not so crowded and doctors were chilling but they did not bother to check only 5 people sitting in waiting room.

And what does it even cost to make a reel or a video.
Harsh but true that “negative content gets more instant viewership than positive”. Not everyone takes the pain to verify the info being broadcasted.
I think any country any city except crisis economies like Ukraine etc. will be yielding for people who are ready to hustle.

      @vebs07s ปีที่แล้ว +1

100% correct. People don't plan their course or work and then make negative reels on instagram. People just want to do PG Course or Any MBA from Canadian institutes and are expecting high paying salary. Similar to other countries a person will need proper certification or licences I'm their own field to work for any organization or start their own business. This is the rule to 's
      Survive in any country.
Tables will soon turn as this tough time will end soon hopefully by start of next year.

This is the same thing I am thinking. I live in Mexico and have my own home so I do not pay rent. Homeownership is a lot more affordable in Mexico if you have a decent job and education. I do like the fact that security is better in Canada, yes even with the rise in crime in Canada, Mexico is far worse. However, the way world events are unfolding right now, Mexico's economy is growing and expected to grow. The fact that many factories from China are relocating to Mexico means that there will be a lot of new opportunities in many sectors. In summary, I am really reevaluating my goal of moving to Canada because I think I can work hard and get ahead in my own country without the limbo of being accepted by Canada. Canada is slaking, it demands a lot from immigrants but it's not delivering on its end of the deal.
