I like the regular white clouds better, but both are great. It's such an underrated fish. I ordered almost all of my fish online from just a few trusted sellers, except for angelfish I got at the only lfs in town, which sucks, but they had some beautiful blue zebra angelfish that I just had to have. I love this tank.
Cool tank Man. I've got about 30 white clouds in about 20 cherries in my tank. just put some mystery snails and trap door snails. I'm hoping the white clouds get along with the snails. their little antenna things kind of look like worms.
If you research the natural habitats of the white cloud. It’s cool, rocky stream and pools maybe some mossy Java moss type plants . Sorry to hear about the covid stuff there are so many chest type viruses around for normal folks every winter x
Hillstream loaches, my friend. My new favorite fish and they don't mess with even the smallest of my blue velvet shrimp. I don't have any, but I've heard that cherry bards don't mess with em either. I've also got neons, and they don't mess with juv+ shrimps, but I don't trust neons with shrimplets. Ember tetras are super small to. I don't think embers are even capable of eating shrimplets and I'm breeding them shits too, just a different tank with only ghost shrimp. My neons DO eat ghost shrimp larvae, but only until a couple molts in. I get probably 50% survival with ghost shrimp larvae, but that's an entirely different situation. Also, what about some carpet? Monte carlo carpet would be baller af in there.
Nice tank, what size tank do you have? I really like that elongated look and it's perfect for schooling fish. If you planted heavy on one side I bet you could get baby Golden White Clouds. But you would probably end up with too many then. Nice set up.
Tank and the tank mates look fab. Mind adding some driftwood or stones, that would make it even more natural

Your setup looks great, no heater is needed since both inhabitants don’t require it.

Thanks! They actually eat the snails in my tank for some reason. They leave the cherries alone though.

Thank you. Its a 33 long. 48x13x12. Its basically a 55 gallon footprint in length but only 12 inches tall.

I dont have Amano shrimp. They dont usually eat or bother the Cherry shrimp.
