Accusations of Dead Servers in World of Warcraft Classic are floating around and I want to address them. WoW Classic Fresh Servers are going strong and players are still leveling. Raiding Metrics have been used to insinuate low numbers but those demographics are only of active raiders. Vanilla WoW Servers are healthy and other content creators suggesting otherwise is nonsense!
There is a difference between the original FRESH and CLASSIC servers. The classic ones are empty compared to the Fresh ones. And let's be honest, a lot of what keeps servers alive is the numbers that streamers bring. There is no doubt that the servers are healthy for now, but as always, it will be a matter of time before the population reduces significantly. Let´s hope it takes a long time before it happens !
The streamer hype will go away like any new game and numbers will drop for sure in the future but servers are definitely healthy compared to what others are saying. There’s a ton of players leveling
Blizzard banning bots every day: waste of resources, temporary fix, short term results Blizzard taking as long as necessary to find a way to enact a massive ban-wave to confuse and get ahead of bots: reality-focused, smaller daily load, short-term discomfort, longer-term results. Consider listening to Pirate Software or another ex-blizzard employee talk about what actually works vs what players think works.
Massive ban waves help but since bots and gold selling websites are intertwined one could argue why Blizzard hasn’t gone after those websites?…. Instead they ban gdkp’s and those sites still operate

Anyone who thinks HC is dead isn’t playing HC. It’s impossible to do things sometimes because of how many people are playing.
I started playing wow hardcore like 10 days ago. Never touched wow until now.
