Have the exact same spec on order. Your videos have been super helpful. You’ve helped me solve a lot of the little nitpicks I’d had with it (sticker, piano black etc.) please keep these coming.
Thanks for posting this. I followed your instructions and had no problem at all removing the stickers with a hairdrier, cleaning the residue (there was very little) with clay and polishing. Looks great.
Agreed. would of been ok elsewhere not in plain sight. Looks like something you would have on the front of a new tv that is made to come off before use. Yuk.
You've got balls of steel! I was wincing just watching you. Fair play, the final look is a bit more subtle. Not something I've considered. Good video. In a future video, I'll be interested to see what range you get as my forecasted range is rather poor! Hopefully warmer weather will have a good impact. Cheers
Ha ha. Many years of removing car badges and stickers from stuff. First time is the worst, just need to not get to cocky :). Will deffo be talking about range in future videos. With lock down and home schooling I am yet to hit 100 miles :( Thanks for watching and commenting.
I had this done at the Volvo garage when i picked it up, they just pulled it of and cleaned it with some alcohol based cleaning product. What you did seems less risky tho
Hello. I have removed the sticker without previously heating it and I have left adhesive residue. What do you recommend I should do? I have bought this product: AutoGlanz Spar-Tar . Do you think it could go well? Thank you and congratulations for your videos.
Yes that product will probably help remove. Make sure the paintwork is clear before attempting to remove, and do not rub hard or you may scratch the paintwork.
This is probably one of the most annoying thing I've done. The sticker "hardened" and it's brittle so it keeps breaking off.. Edit: I got fed up and used my heat gun along with a car trim removal kit. Took me 10 secs to take it off lol

Thanks for watching, its a great car.
Videos will continue to come :)

Awesome, glad all went well. Looks much better without the stickers in my opinion.
Thank you for all of your videos, Please keep going! Would love to see a long 200+ mile trip review.
More to come with the Polestar 2, just struggling to get the time.
Still need to do my 1 year on video, and software updates, etc.
I think that sticker belongs on the inside of the door frame. Probably by the B pilar. Will try and move mine when car arrives.
I think it would have been better if it was just Polestar 2, not with the battery info on there.

@@jsouto77 On the plus side, getting it off early is an easy job.
I kind of like the sticker. Makes it look like it’s a prototype or something.
Each to their own, I prefer the clean look.

I guess at least if Volvo screwed it up they would have to put it right. When you DIY its all on you :)
Your videos have been a godsend
Glad they have been helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I peeled off as much as I could, then used a plastic spugger tool for the rest. Rubbed down with vegetable oil, wiped it all up and Bob’s your uncle.
Now you're cooking ;)

Happy for you chap and good riddance of them tacky (no pun intended) decals. Keep on rolling :)
Thanks 👍
@Keagan Yosef definitely, I have been watching on instaflixxer for months myself :)

Nicely done :)
very good and actually i will do the same on mine as soon as i get it (ETA 3 weeks)... is that the midnight color ? it looks beautiful !
Yup, Midnight with Performance Pack.
If this has been an "apple car", then you would have lost the warranty, and received an error message that you did not have an original door 😂😂😂
:)
Thanks for the great info
Any time!
Glue cleanup - use WD40.
Yup another good tip.
Goo Gone is another option.
Chinese car... Chinese company
Yup ... not sure what that has to do with sticker removal?
No one cares what you think.
Fairly gormless comment. As we’ve all but killed manufacturing in the UK, pretty much everything is brought via shipping container from China.
