siete la soddisfazione di ogni nonna italiana hahahahaha -----------TRANSLATE----------- you are the satisfation of every italian grand-mother haha ;) really, i really appreciate you like italian snacks *-respect*
IGP means "indicazione geografica protetta" that litarally means : protected geographically indication, in italy we have lots of traditional food and drinks, and we get copied a lot from other country so we use this marks (there are many of them : igp dop ig stg..) to make sure to the customer that he's buying autentical italian food, in this case igp means that those cookies were made in tuscany and also the ingredients were grown in tuscany.
Kinder is a Ferrero brand made for the german market, so Kinder sweets are usually sweeter than normal Ferrero branded ones, they were very successful in italy as well. During my childhood I was pretty much either drunk on Fiestas or high on Kinder Delice sugar
why did you put that song with mandolin that represent the old and 5% of the italian population (or at lest only a bit part of the south)??? it's a bit racist and ignorant....We have the best composers of the world and we have invented so many instruments like the Piano!!!why did you put one of the instrument and song that less represent us (or neither)???
Kinder is a brand of the Ferrero group and is totally Italian. It's a productline introduced in the 1970s when the company was smaller and decided to go international by approaching the Swiss and German markets so they created the Kinder brand (means "children" in German) to make the local consumers comfortable with it. Actually many Germans too think Kinder is German but it's 100% Italian :-)
IGP it's an acharonim (original territory protection) to say that the bisquits you have are the original one from Siena, and if ther's not the igp protection means that they're replica and not the original ones.
Dear Max thank however invented this basic "ingredient" of italian cuisine, really a heaven's descent, cheap and tasty as nothing else, possible to be put in everything: pizza, sweets, in some kind of variations(e.g. lasagne) even pasta.

Anyway, very funny video 👍
Sry for the comment in Italian (my eng is too bad), congratulations for education and respect for the food.
first of all: very nice video, i had a lot of fun in seeing your reactions!!!i will give you some further infos about the products you tasted in this video;1)Cedrata Tassoni:a legendary drink produced in Venetian region(northern Italy), a fizzy citron-flavoured drink that has delighted almost 5 italian generations;2)Pane Guttiau Snacks: chunks of non-levited wheat bread with olive oil, common in Sardinia(a famous and big Italian island), appetizing and light snack to be eaten with spreadable sauces or cold cuts;3)Fonzies:potato-cheese snacks, originary produced in Italy, now its production has been transferred in Germany, another common italian snack;4)Bruschetta:mythical appetizer of Italy:roasted bread usually accompanied by tomatoes, onion, garlic or sauces like the one you showed(artichoke sauce, pepper sauce,or also preparations with cheeses, mushrooms) but also ham or pepperoni;5)Ciambelline al vino rosso:typical pastry production of Central and Southern Italy, kneaded with red wine, sugar, flour and eggs, distinguishables because of their contrasting flavour;6)Ricciarelli toscani:typical pastry production of Siena,Tuscany(central Italy) done with almonds, sugar and eggs, often eaten in the Christmas period(produced similarly in other parts of Italy with the name of Amaretti);7)Fiesta, Kinder Delice:chocolate based snacks, producted by Ferrero, world renowed alimentary factory of Piedmont Region(northern Italy), that tempted a lot of Italian kids in the last 50 years;8)Liquirone: sweetmeat done with sugar and black licorice(a root of a plant cultivated in Calabria region,Southern Italy);9)Venchi chocolates:chocolates produced by a factory of Turin,Piedmont, probably the best one in Italy, renowed in particular for its Gianduiotto, that you essayed also in this video;10)Baci Perugina: another legendary chocolate pieces of Italy, produced in Perugia,Umbria,Central Italy, contenting milk chocolate and nut, always packaged with a little sheet contenting a love sentence or a love quote, they're the most common present in the Valentine's day here in Italy("baci" in Italian means "kisses")...thanks for this "spot"of our foods and drinks, it's amazing to see the appreciation that our typical productions have also in the other side of the world... :)
You have a really good palate and you are able to enjoy these sweets and snacks in a way that no one else does! I see many videos like this and a lot of people (mostly american and english) spit what they have in their mouth and I can't stand it! I was taught to not spit what I have in my mouth and I'm so happy you've been that polite! Keep up with the excellent work guys :)
TabiEats you're welcome guys! Thanks to you for being polite and enjoying our snacks; I hope one day you'll have the possibility to come in Italy and eat in some actual restaurants :)
I am Italo-American so going to my family's homeland is very important to me and one day I will get there! WOW just thought it would be cool to go the same time you do and meet up with you there!!! I like meeting new friends so please don't think I am a weirdo... Well ya I am a weirdo but a good weirdo if ya know what I mean...LOL I will also be going to Japan one day. My son married a girl from Japan and he has gone twice and LOVED it there!
Nice video, it's always fun to see people trying things for the first time while us Italians take them for granted! Also I am majoring in both Japanese and English, so if you ever need any help with translations just ask! Anyway you guessed right many words, I am impressed. The Venchi and gianduiotto chocolates are produced near my hometown, I am so proud. Anyway, about Ferrero: it is Italian and the chocolate stuff is Italian (recipe and distribution) but is had been working with Kinder, which is German, for quite a few years, that's why the basically split their production in two, or so I'd say. P.S. Also I laughed when you appreciated the Nippon packaging at 9.30 because I know the man who works for the company and designed it!
Hi, I am from Venice! The baicoli biscuits by colussi are definitely sweet (even if not that sweet actually haha) We usually eat them with hot milk or hot tea, or caffelatte (coffee+milk+sugar). They were more popular some decades ago, now they suffer the vast offer of many (sweeter) biscuits, but imo they are very good :)
anyway IGP means: "Indicazione geografica protetta" , in English could be "protected geographical indication". it means that the production ( or at least one phase of production ) truly took place in the location reported on packaging..
Very good pronunciation with all those products, you guys, I'm always amazed by how japanese people can read italian so well :) ! You gained a new subscriber btw ;)
IGP is Indicazione Geografica Protetta or Protected geography location (in english i think), that's mean that product can be produced only in a specific place (in this case only in Toscany). Best regards from italy !! (i hope i was clear with the explaination)
I just stumbled upon your channel. You guys are great! Looking forward to watching more....and sending you some liquorice candies! LOL. Keep it up guys!
nippon is a german brand i remember that because my sister flies to Germany every time for business and she always brings that back!!! she said its everywhere in Germany too 🙈❤❤
I love when you do Italian food tasting because it's great to hear you pronouncing Italian. You're both very good at it. I am Italian, from the Molise region of Italy but I live in Canada now. Also there are similarities between Italian and Japanese in that both cuisines concentrate on the authentic flavour of the product that is highlighted so the flavours are very pure and uncomplicated. I visited Japan 10 years ago and love the country and the people. What a fantastic country and wonderful people❤❤❤. Much love to you both. I believe I have watched every one of your videos.
Hey guys, IGP is for Indicazione Geografica Protetta! It means that the product is certified to come from a specific place, in this case Siena in Tuscany, and the recipe is the original and certified! 😉
Ah this is so cool! My heritage is Italian (mother is first generation born here in the US my grandma and grandpa came from a small hill town in Italy ) and we went there a few years ago for 3 months and traveled all over Italy . I see so many of the snacks and treats I ate all the time when I was there and also many snacks that my relatives who still live there send often! Italian food is awesome !
hi :) the crackers with rosemary are a type of sardinian bread called "guttiau" and there are many variants, the basic one is just bread with oil and salt, glad you liked them
I'm Italian and I just discovered your channel with this video! I really liked it :) I'm happy you enjoyed our snacks and I appreciated the respect you had for the products... I'm surely subscribing to your channel! just a little "help" (if no one already did): the yellow drink is "cedràta", it's not based on lemon but on citron (you were close!) :) and the round cookies really taste of red wine, it was correct (the package said "vino rosso" which means "red wine". oh, one more thing... you're pretty good at reading Italian :) :)
I'm Italian I lived there for 9 years and moved to London later to have a taste of the life in London and try something new. I really LOVE Japanese high school dramas😍 You guys rock.
I cannot believed that you tried "Pane Guttiau" lol,btw they are not chips but pane (bread) carasau with oil and salt on it. It's made in Sardinia where I am from ;)
Hey guys. I.G.P. mean "indicazione geografica protetta" It means thpse biscuits r made in a very specific part of italy and them r the original one. without igp r same good bisciuts but could be maded in different areas and with different ingridients
Guys you are very funny and I'm writing to you from Italy. I like this video so much and you're right about the kinder delice: in fact "kinder" is a german word which means "child" but Kinder is also a brand of Ferrero and that was a completely italian snack
btw, amaretti are made of liquor, and there are plenty of variations troughout italy, and also other kind of liquor-based snacks, for example, i'm sure satoshi would love the molisan ferratelle, which are made with anice liquor, and they are really good, but also very off-putting at first, you have to eat at least 2-3 to understand if you like them, they go well with gianduia imho.
xD your pronunciation is the best, i was having so fun seeing you try to pronunce our things... LOL btw, Pane Guttiau is a kind of bread, that comes fron the Sardegna region.I love it because is really crunchy! Baci means actually "kisses" and they are popular in Italy but you can often find them in other places in Europe :D
Very nice video =D You have to know something: in italian, "chi" is not like japanese ち, it is き, while "ci" without "h" is ち. So it's not "pistaccio" like u said but "pistacchio" (pistaっきo, double "cc" is like the small tsu in japanese =D )
Hi guys, i have find that video just today, you're very good to do that kind of videos! In Italy we have other youtubers who taste snacks from other nationality european too ahah. Good luck for you're career of youtubers, i will support you, i'm too a little "youtuber" ahah :)
TabiEats kinder is Ferrero and Ferrero is italian and NOBODY UNDERSTANDS THIS (btw i'm mad because i saw a video about "english" snacks and there was the fucking kinder egg!!)
Biscotti mean biscuits\cookies :) they need to be eaten with a warm milk, coffee or tea. We eat them during breakfast traditionally, or during snack time. Enjoy!
Terre d'Italia has only traditional foods (IGP means that it is tipical of a certain place) so if you want to eat certificated and guaranteed italian food go for Terre d'Italia (costs more than other similar products) or Eataly (it's like a supermarket but only for guaranteed italian food)
Man, only now I realize that maybe Ferrero's product naming policies are a bit confusing for poor foreigners. An Italian brand that has a line of products with a German name, which comprises two products with a Spanish name, one with a French name... yeah, it's gotta be at least a little confusing :D
Once again a masterpiece of entertainment, veeery interessting about venchi and bachi, and how you laughed about it, so so charming. Thank you my dears
i'm wondering what can happen if you try real italian food, that's much better than industrial snacks! you really should do a long journey in italy guys :D
you guys have a nice pronunciation. loved that anyways kinder is the German name for kids, and Ferrero (the actual name of the brand "kinder and Ferrero") is the business that produces it, included nutella
IGP signature on ricciarelli pastries means "protected geographic indication" and is a warranty of genuinity of a product, that it was prepared the traditional way of the region where it was invented, and it isnt a modified recipe

Baci (kisses) are peculiar because they contain a little piece of paper with a sort of "love haikus" in different languages! Did you notice that?

So glad you enjoyed this review. We certainly enjoyed doing this. We just finished filming part 2 so stay tuned!
TabiEats you're welcome guys! Thanks to you for being polite and enjoying our snacks; I hope one day you'll have the possibility to come in Italy and eat in some actual restaurants :)
I have always wanted to go to Italy and you make me want to go even more... If only for the Snacks!!!
I know the feeling! After all the snacks we tried, we want to go!
Come here in Italy it's beautiful
I'll make it there!
The baicoli biscuits by colussi are definitely sweet (even if not that sweet actually haha)
We usually eat them with hot milk or hot tea, or caffelatte (coffee+milk+sugar).
They were more popular some decades ago, now they suffer the vast offer of many (sweeter) biscuits, but imo they are very good :)
iota-09
I prefer those too for my milk. No, not baicoli. Baicoli are really slow to get soaked with milk, they stay crunchy inside even with hot milk
Italian comments are sometimes helpful for foreigners too. I speak Spanish and Catalan and it lets me learn your language due to the similarities.
anyway IGP means: "Indicazione geografica protetta" , in English could be "protected geographical indication". it means that the production ( or at least one phase of production ) truly took place in the location reported on packaging..
Very good pronunciation with all those products, you guys, I'm always amazed by how japanese people can read italian so well :) ! You gained a new subscriber btw ;)
aww thanks so much for subscribing! Welcome to our world!
I am Italian and is so satsfying watching you eat Italian snaks!! ahahah you enjoyed them so much :3
IGP is Indicazione Geografica Protetta or Protected geography location (in english i think), that's mean that product can be produced only in a specific place (in this case only in Toscany). Best regards from italy !! (i hope i was clear with the explaination)
+RektFrame thank you so much for the explanation
I can feel your love for our food... Justin you do pronounce words really well. I love your food ,too
ITALIAN FOOD IS THE BEST OF THE WORLD, I LOVE MY ITALY
I just stumbled upon your channel. You guys are great! Looking forward to watching more....and sending you some liquorice candies! LOL. Keep it up guys!
nippon is a german brand i remember that because my sister flies to Germany every time for business and she always brings that back!!! she said its everywhere in Germany too 🙈❤❤
Kinder =Ferrero = italian = Nutella 🇮🇹🇮🇹
You were so lucky to get Guttiau :D I am from Sardinia and I love them
IGP means protected geographic indication. it means that kind of food is tipical of that region and must be make only in a specific region!
Ok, you like Italian food and I freaking love sushi.
Let's make a deal
Great idea!
TabiEats Cosa chiede a San Gennaro?
I love when you do Italian food tasting because it's great to hear you pronouncing Italian. You're both very good at it. I am Italian, from the Molise region of Italy but I live in Canada now. Also there are similarities between Italian and Japanese in that both cuisines concentrate on the authentic flavour of the product that is highlighted so the flavours are very pure and uncomplicated. I visited Japan 10 years ago and love the country and the people. What a fantastic country and wonderful people❤❤❤. Much love to you both. I believe I have watched every one of your videos.
IGP=identificazione geografica protetta (protected geographical identification), basically means it's from local products
Hey guys, IGP is for Indicazione Geografica Protetta! It means that the product is certified to come from a specific place, in this case Siena in Tuscany, and the recipe is the original and certified! 😉
You're so good at Italian it's kinda shockingg
aww thanks!
Italian food is awesome !
and we love Japan too!!!
love you guys.
Thanks!!!
hi :) the crackers with rosemary are a type of sardinian bread called "guttiau" and there are many variants, the basic one is just bread with oil and salt, glad you liked them
I'm Italian and I just discovered your channel with this video! I really liked it :) I'm happy you enjoyed our snacks and I appreciated the respect you had for the products... I'm surely subscribing to your channel!
just a little "help" (if no one already did): the yellow drink is "cedràta", it's not based on lemon but on citron (you were close!) :)
and the round cookies really taste of red wine, it was correct (the package said "vino rosso" which means "red wine".
oh, one more thing... you're pretty good at reading Italian :) :)
I'm Italian I lived there for 9 years and moved to London later to have a taste of the life in London and try something new. I really LOVE Japanese high school dramas😍 You guys rock.
AWw thanks so much. You ROCK for taking the time to watch and comment.
I always love you japanese people trying to read italian
AWw thank you so much for teaching us all this. We certainly enjoyed everything we tried. Part two is coming soon!
Glad to help! And yay, I'm looking forward to it! :D
I cannot believed that you tried "Pane Guttiau" lol,btw they are not chips but pane (bread) carasau with oil and salt on it. It's made in Sardinia where I am from ;)
You're so funny :D.
I'm Italian and my favourite snack is Fonzies.
Fonzies are so good!
Hey guys. I.G.P. mean "indicazione geografica protetta"
It means thpse biscuits r made in a very specific part of italy and them r the original one. without igp r same good bisciuts but could be maded in different areas and with different ingridients
Ahhh I see. Thanks for letting us know
Hi I'm from italy! That 'chips', the first kind, are traditional sardiniad bread with oil, we call it 'pane guttiau'
Thanks for the info!
Guys you are very funny and I'm writing to you from Italy.
I like this video so much and you're right about the kinder delice: in fact "kinder" is a german word which means "child" but Kinder is also a brand of Ferrero and that was a completely italian snack
if you two study italian you would be very good
you are everywhere lol
Kaneki Ken io? haha
chien lunaire if you study english you whould still be crap
Hound dogs “whould” ok
Satoshi's so sassy when he's deprived of his beloved wine!
What a fun food haul! Baci and amaretti are among my favorites. Yum.
Have a great weekend.
Haha. Without wine and beer he shrivels up and dies.
+TabiEats Uh-oh, you must have wine at the ready at all times! 🍷✨
haha. yes!!!
btw, amaretti are made of liquor, and there are plenty of variations troughout italy, and also other kind of liquor-based snacks, for example, i'm sure satoshi would love the molisan ferratelle, which are made with anice liquor, and they are really good, but also very off-putting at first, you have to eat at least 2-3 to understand if you like them, they go well with gianduia imho.
iota-09 we just want to try everything there is to try in Italy. We are obsessed!
PopoFieroYT gia
e tu li chiami cibi? quella e' merda!, sono altri i cibi italiani
Leo Di Lea ª gia
PopoFieroYT ma sono i migliori al mondo
Your videos (and you two) are so much fun to watch, that I just had to subscribe! Thank you for all the great videos you posted!
xD your pronunciation is the best, i was having so fun seeing you try to pronunce our things... LOL
btw, Pane Guttiau is a kind of bread, that comes fron the Sardegna region.I love it because is really crunchy!
Baci means actually "kisses" and they are popular in Italy but you can often find them in other places in Europe :D
So glad you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching!!!
This was cool guys! I'm glad did you like our food. Love from Italy! :D
We loved it!
Very nice video =D You have to know something: in italian, "chi" is not like japanese ち, it is き, while "ci" without "h" is ち. So it's not "pistaccio" like u said but "pistacchio" (pistaっきo, double "cc" is like the small tsu in japanese =D )
+13:32 "you the base, i'll take the top" HAHAHA and he giggled a little rofl
cheers in Italian is "Salute"
Dimenticato! Io non sono italiano :-)
Meglio salute di cin cin XD
In giapponese vuol dire ben altro :P
so proud of my Italy :3 I'm italian and I really love all of this snaks
Hi guys, i have find that video just today, you're very good to do that kind of videos!
In Italy we have other youtubers who taste snacks from other nationality european too ahah.
Good luck for you're career of youtubers, i will support you, i'm too a little "youtuber" ahah :)
+Andrea Foti thanks so much!
TabiEats love your videos and by the Way I ,personally, love japanese food
TabiEats kinder is Ferrero and Ferrero is italian and NOBODY UNDERSTANDS THIS (btw i'm mad because i saw a video about "english" snacks and there was the fucking kinder egg!!)
Biscotti mean biscuits\cookies :) they need to be eaten with a warm milk, coffee or tea. We eat them during breakfast traditionally, or during snack time. Enjoy!
THank you!
igp mean indication of geographic protection also the original made only in toscana in italian indicazione di geografica protetta
baci means kisses
Thank you so much!
Monia Bolletta
Certo.
It's to appease to other countries and to make the products sound "cool" in italy, Festa is a lamer name than Fiesta for a snack :D
Once again a masterpiece of entertainment, veeery interessting about venchi and bachi, and how you laughed about it, so so charming. Thank you my dears
+BoFighter one thanks so much for watching!!! Cheers!
fuffa e retorica
JarniDeGarza
madonna baldracca.
kinder is a Ferrero product (same as Kinder egg, Kinder bueno and others). Ferrero also produced Nutella, Ferrero roché...lots of nice sweet stuff...
i'm wondering what can happen if you try real italian food, that's much better than industrial snacks! you really should do a long journey in italy guys :D
We would love to one day.
Amazing reactions!Thank you so much. Also we love sushi, soo tasty!
-Greatings from Italy ;).
You are funny and sweet! there is a moment in the video when you start acting like two italian men. Power of italian food! :D
you guys have a nice pronunciation. loved that
anyways kinder is the German name for kids, and Ferrero (the actual name of the brand "kinder and Ferrero") is the business that produces it, included nutella
Kisses from Tuscany Empoli!
If you need Chinese Italian translation I'd be happy to help
Thank you so much! that would be great. All the videos can freely be translated by going to the translation tab.
Dat Boi Baci Perugina From Empoli? Are you joking?
Dat Boi semmai provengono da Perugia
You guys are so cute and nice, I'm glad you liked our food! I enjoy japanese food as well
Thank you for watching. We just finished filming part 2!
IGP signature on ricciarelli pastries means "protected geographic indication" and is a warranty of genuinity of a product, that it was prepared the traditional way of the region where it was invented, and it isnt a modified recipe
da quando i giapponesi sanno parlare così bene l'inglese?!
giannini matteo boo tutto è possibile Hahaha
tipo coffe dicono cohii, oppure disneyland dicono disneylando
Ricciarelli is very authentic, no grocery, sometimes we make Christmas presents with them because they are so good e chic. Awesome drinking espresso!
Ohhh that's so good to know. They were amazing
I need wine, I need wine....today ❤
the first one is citron soda. Citron (Citrus medica), a large fragrant citrus fruit with a thick rind, one of the four original citrus fruits along with pomelo, mandarin and papeda
