One of the greatest days of my life will forever be when he and a few Cavs players came into my workplace to workout and invited me to play basketball with them. One of the nicest people I have ever met. If he retires, he will be missed by Cleveland!

Not many games left this year to prove it but I think you’re right. Maybe retire after playing with Australia in Tokyo?

Love Delly and would love to see him back on the court again. But man coming that close to death and the potential for it to happen again is so scary. So retirement could be a good thing in terms of health and well being. He would become a great coach for a young team.

Well, for his health, I personally think he should give up on the court, before the court gives up on him. In soccer, Zidane, Gatusso, Roberto Carlos, similar issues were rising for them, but then they quit..especially Zidane, exhaustion was defeating him in the pitch. But praise God he is now a great soccer coach.

That's how Delly plays. Any Aussie basketball fan will tell you that he wouldn't be Delly if he didn't put his body on the line. He loses time and games due to injuries he picks up, but that motivates his team.

CTE is no joke. So many people with it either kill themselves, kill others or both. It’s such a shame because it fundamentally changes who the person is, how they act and what they do- without the person’s control.
This video made me appreciate the guy, nice job as usual Casey. Here’s hoping he’s one of the lucky ones.

CTE is no joke and those who suffer the symptoms can make it worse with alcohol even a few drinks here or there can add to the symptoms and magnify the side effects to a deadly level! Hope he stays on his path and doesn't take another fall or shot to the head! 🤞

I think you’re overstepping. You’re not a doctor and should not be giving any medical advice or opinions. Don’t talk about what you don’t know based off of other TH-cam videos. Yea he banged his head once. But he’s only 30. Talk about the rest of the league playing into their late 30s racking up injuries. People like you like to gaslight players injuries and try to affect their careers based off of speculations. You’d be dangerous working for a big network as they all think they’re doctors trying to mold the league with their speculations on players returning or what they’re capable of. Ask their physician not the reporter smh.

Dude should retire. The problem with professional athletes is their competitive nature refuses to accept failure so they want to go out on their own terms but, the fact of the matter is, that time rarely comes. What's worse is that he's had concussions and, given the physical nature of the NBA and the lack of protective head gear, there's a very good chance he's going to get his head knocked around, maybe seriously enough, that retirement will be forced on him by his body, and that is always a worse way to go. He's made enough money and still has a long way to go in life. He will definitely still have a place in it, whether in coaching, broadcasting, motivational speaking, etc., whether the NBA or in Oz or many other places in the world, and retiring early should increase his quality of life in the future.

Welcome to the Kings! I think your concussion argument was a slippery slope fallacy. Multiple concussions in the NFL…okay yea that’s bad. But one concussion in a sport that has less aggressive contact? He’s fine. Let him play and get paid. That being said, I think his head is going to be safe riding on the bench this year. Kings roster is looking solid!
