Thank you rion-san for being a wholesome content creator, I watch your videos whenever I'm feeling sad because I can't travel. Hope I can go back to japan again and maybe see you around there too!
I am from Romania and I went to Asakusa, Tokyo in January 2019 with my dad. Those 7 days were the best day of my entire life. I love Japan and the Japanese language. Thank you for bringing me back memories.
Another great video, Rion. It’s so interesting to see ‘Corona-era’ Asakusa. It’s like, the same...but totally different. Actually, without all the foreign tourists, Nakamise looks more a tourist street in my area! (伊勢のおかげ横丁, etc.)
First place I have visited in Japan, know the place like the back of my hand. Been here numerous times, I lost count. Whenever I'm in Tokyo, I always stay in Asakusa, precisely near or around Don Quijote. I have never seen Sensoji Temple not bursting with tourists. Lucky you, no overcrowding.
11:24 “I don’t care” 😆 I’m lovin’ it! I wasn’t planning on it, and I’m not really a foodie, but you were able to convince me to visit Asakusa when other YTbers’ videos could not. 🎐
We went there last year. There are so many people during our visit. I still enjoyed it and the place was beautiful and rich in culture. Hope to re visit Japan again some day. Thanks for making this wonderful vlog!
Arigato gozaimasu, Rion, for the great tour of Asakusa. It's a beautiful place. I wasn't aware that it was so close to Tokyo Skytree. And thanks for introducing me to the interesting and meccha oishi foods. 👍
Another great video they remind me of my Last 2 trips to Japan. Keep up the great work you are bringing Japan to us who can't travel right now. Stay safe and healthy.
I really like how you walk with the camera to your side so I can actually see what is going on inside the buildings as you walk by them. When somebody just focuses on themselves and we see the background or if they face the camera forward and we see the street I'm not really catching a side view. I'm watching you so I can see what is going on around you that's why I'm so glad you film the way you do. Keep it up good job thank you.
Hi Rion... I had Tendon in a restaurant on your right side on your min 19:19 video.. one of the best meal I had in Asakusa area.. hope next time you have a chance to try it
Yehey. Asakusa is where I stayed last October when Iwent there during my first visit in Japan and thank you for this wonderful vlog because it makes me miss and love Japan more and more thanks to your vlogs Rion. Please take care and be safe from the Corona Virus.
Thanks for making this video. I really like the atmosphere in Asakusa. If I am able to go to Japan next year, I would definitely consider making a stop there. :)
Thank you for the great content Rion!!! Love seeing you travel around Tokyo! All the food you tried today looked !! So excited to see a video of you at Tokyo Disneyland! It would be a dream of mine to work there!
It’s amazing how dead it is in Japan without all the tourist visiting. Was crazy crowded when I went to asakusa last year. Feel bad for all the businesses there. But keep up all the great videos Rion.
TH-cam recommended me to your channel because I've been watching videos on Japan walking tour. I like your presentation and have just subscribed to your channel. I toured Nagasaki many years ago and once I was ready to join my family to fly to Hokkaido but unfortunately I fell sick. In future when I plan to visit Japan, I hope I can seek advice from you, such as when the best time is to see snowfall in Tokyo.
I missed Japan, whenever I go there I always stay at Taito-ku, Asakusa. Not really used in seeing less people in Asakusa. Hope this pandemic end soon. Thanks for the virtual tour 🤗
We weren't able to go to Japan this past May due to coronavirus - Hopefully next May we can! Keep the awesome videos coming. Really makes me miss Japan.

Great video Rion! Makes me want to go back to Asakusa. I was there is March 2019. There is a good matcha gelato place north of Sensoji that I would recommend, even if their customer service was lacking. Get the sesame flavor as well!
New sub here! I recently chose my dates for my trip to Japan in 2022 and can't wait to go! I've been wanting to go since I was 5 years old and finally decided to do it. I've already added so many foods and snacks on my 'To try' list (including Okonomiyaki from Fugetsu) and some interesting places to visit I haven't heard of before finding your videos, like Mt. Koya! Thank you for the awesome videos and I can't wait to see more! And that sesame dango sounded really good too :)
