I just recently discovered this to. I always ate it with rice and meat or tofu. i just on a whim decided to put it over spaghetti noodles with ground cayenne, tofu and parm cheese and it is DELICIOUS! Will be making more in the future.

Me and my brother discovered Coco Ichibanya back when we had a trip in Japan. We tried it in Taito/Ueno area. I found out that there's a franchise here in Metro Manila. Reminiscing your video when we were in Japan.

Last time I visited Japan, I skip trying the Coco ramen cause Im not sure if its Halal or not. Now watching your video made me regret and wanted to try Coco ramen soooo bad. Thank's Rion! Pretty sure I should coming back to Japan!
the ramen version looks interesting! I had curry udon once from Marugame and didn't really like it, the version i had was too rich / cloying i feel like they don't really go well together. Beef udon is the bomb though haha. Great video as always Rion!

I have always been told that it is improper to place your chopsticks upright in a bowl of rice as it is how one makes an offering to the dead. If you do that you are signifying to your family that you are dead! Definitely not good! 🤣. However, foreigners are usually given "a pass" on this behavior because they are known to be generally ignorant of proper Japanese etiquette. I am looking forward to your upcoming programs. It is non halal..becuse in one of the menu they have cha siu pork ramen...
There is Halal cocoichi in Shinjuku Kabukicho, maybe you can try there!😉
