My family visited Osaka 3 times and we stayed in the same hotel:NAMBA ORIENTAL HOTEL! The 3rd Trip was in Nov 2018. Great service and very easy to explore around looking for GREAT food. From NAMBA Station, we can take the train to Tokyo, Kyoto and many other interesting places. Will visit again and stay in the SAME HOTEL when EVERYTHING returns to normal!

Oh man i miss osaka. I stayed for a week in 04 village. Tour around osaka, gone to universal studio, ride trains all day, walk 2-3 hour with sibling around the city and backstreet. We also visit kyoto for a day and gone up to Mt Roko to enjoy the snow.
Nice personality. Happiness in simple things purifies soul. Stay like this forever.

That Taiyaki place only served red and white bean taiyaki when I was there last time. I would love to try the custard!

Watching some of your past videos and glad I came across this one. I can’t wait to go back to Osaka and eat takosen! I don’t remember takosen being around when I lived there. I’m also hungry for wagyu croquettes. I’ve had Taiyaki but not custard filled. So mahalo for giving me some new food goals on my next trip to Osaka after we are allowed to travel again!
I'm booked for a trip to Osaka on March 13, and unless there's a travel ban , or flight cancellation, I'm definitely going.
Nice to see that restos, grocery stores, and konbinis are all open.

By the way, on the first part of the video when you passed by the “blue sign” shotengai from across Takashimaya we have a favorite street food there. Whenever we’re in Osaka we always order meat buns from Futami no Butaman.😊
