Decided yesterday to go back to disc bound (after about 3 years trying other things). I didn't say a word aloud. Today I realized I needed a cover. Still didn't say a word aloud. Less than an hour later, this shows up in my feed. Great tutorial. It solves my problem. I can't wait to do it. Thanks....but how did 'they' know????
That is weird, but I have heard that data collection/analysis is so advanced now that it knows our wants before we do. It’s a mad world, but so glad it led you to my channel! 😁👍
Thanks for the demonstration. I have problems getting a lot of planner supplies in germany without having to spend €€€€€ for shipping and never even thought about making these for myself.
I was about to cry thinking I had to spend 40€ on a set of dividers.
I’m all about DIY planner items so hopefully you can save some money and still make your planner all you envision. 😁👍

Awesome! Just note that the dollar tree mats aren’t as sturdy as the one I showed so they might need some reinforcement (like layering in a laminated cover). Happy DIY’ing!

I just made covers for my planner. I got my chopping mat from Amazon. You get 6 for 10.00. I don't have the hole punch you have so I used a standard hole punch. I used the cover that came with my planner and traced it including the holes and it came out great. Thanks for your video ❤

For those tricky measurements just cut a piece of paper to size and then fold it in half. Easy peasy!

Thanks for sharing this! I’ve learned so much from you & saved a lot of money! Since this one is 15” wide, I could get my two side tab dividers! Another potential option is plastic pocket folders, which come in a myriad of colors! I also love your Etsy printables. They’re crisp, use the space in a great way & allow for personalization! 😊❤️ Oh! You should add your tip about trimming the “mushroom” stems, if they’re too tight on the disks. That helped me a lot!

Thanks for the tutorial! Very helpful. Can the happy planner punch be used instead of the crocodile punch? Or does it mess it up?
Unfortunately the HP punches aren’t good for thick papers/materials. Anything over 3 copier paper sheets in thickness won’t even fit into the punch. The crop-a-dile tool really is needed for this thickness of material.

Do you mean the cutter, punch or planner discs?
I was able to find the cutting mats easily, but when I attempted to punch the mat, it became stuck in my happy planner punch. HELP!
Yeah, if it is a happy planner punch, you are gonna have to tear it out. HP punches can't handle thick materials. I recommend getting this tool for any DIY discbound projects:

Sad day 😢 I found some for cheap on Amazon that are basically the same. I bought them in a pack of 10 though for archiving my planners.
