That is weird, but I have heard that data collection/analysis is so advanced now that it knows our wants before we do. It’s a mad world, but so glad it led you to my channel! 😁👍

Thanks for the demonstration. I have problems getting a lot of planner supplies in germany without having to spend €€€€€ for shipping and never even thought about making these for myself. I was about to cry thinking I had to spend 40€ on a set of dividers.
I just made covers for my planner. I got my chopping mat from Amazon. You get 6 for 10.00. I don't have the hole punch you have so I used a standard hole punch. I used the cover that came with my planner and traced it including the holes and it came out great. Thanks for your video ❤

Another potential option is plastic pocket folders, which come in a myriad of colors! I also love your Etsy printables. They’re crisp, use the space in a great way & allow for personalization! 😊❤️ Oh! You should add your tip about trimming the “mushroom” stems, if they’re too tight on the disks. That helped me a lot!
Unfortunately the HP punches aren’t good for thick papers/materials. Anything over 3 copier paper sheets in thickness won’t even fit into the punch. The crop-a-dile tool really is needed for this thickness of material.

I recently discovered the discbound notebooks. They are not very common in my country and ordering from America (or any other webside actually) is not exactly cheap so I orderd some discs and I'm looking for ways to "build" my own. So this video really helps with cover, thank you! :) Now I'm only left with a question about paper... can I use any paper and the turning of the pages will work or should I use some special (probably thicker) paper? Does someone have some expriences with this, please?
The paper isn’t really the issue, but for double sided printing, I would use 100-120 gsm paper. Also be aware of the brand of discs and the hole puncher you are using. There are 2 types of discs most common…happy planner style discs which are thinner and then the Levenger/arc/tul style discs which tend to be a bit thicker. Be sure the hole punch you are using matches well with the discs you have. That will ensure smooth page turning. Hope this helps!

omg i've been looking for a cheap page marker for a spiral-bound planner, but nobody makes them at an affordable pricepoint -- i'd have to pay 2-4 times the cost of the marker for shipping alone! i can't wait to hit up my dollarama and see if they carry these, and then get to work with my cricut.
Yeah, if it is a happy planner punch, you are gonna have to tear it out. HP punches can't handle thick materials. Sad day 😢 I found some for cheap on Amazon that are basically the same. I bought them in a pack of 10 though for archiving my planners.
I was able to find the cutting mats easily, but when I attempted to punch the mat, it became stuck in my happy planner punch. HELP!
