1:51, king is in check by the rook. He can either block with the queen (and lose her) or move his king. White just sucks at this game. Simultaneously, Black is a wizard; he somehow moved BOTH his rook and his queen into checking White's king but is also a cheater for moving the queen across the diagonal, THEN hopping onto an adjacent square and capturing the king, which is an illegal move. I think White would win by default, as Black would be disqualified.
Returning a failed result for a password as soon as a character mismatched will allow for a side channel attack. Checking every character while knowing its wrong anyway avoids leaking information.
That’s a super cool video! I’ve been a long time massive nerd about Cyber Security and a short time nerd about Fallout and I think you covered it really well! If I had to guess a solution for the issue about finding the random right chunk is probably that the PipBoy is able to insert junk/malious code before you the player start hacking to ensure you’re in the neighborhood of the right data.
I’m not a cyber nerd, but from what I understand of the Fallout universe, they wouldn’t need to update security that much because they don’t have the Internet, in order to hack something you have to physically interface with it with.
People are just NOW finding out about fallout due to the tv series, and it shows😂Sorry people but the fallout wagon left a decade ago, it’s too late to hype it up

Black's King is also already in check from White's bishop. Truly one of the chess matches of all time.
I watched it like five times. Thankful to find this as the top comment

this was a cool video idea, a great explanation of coding basics, on top of that I loved the editing mixed in with the fallout terminals. Nice job!

I always loved fallout and its mini games
Great video man!
Thanks!
Hey man! I think if you shorten your intros a little it would do wonders for your video retention! Such a fun video though
