True. I thought Ange deserves her little spin of the phrase, though. I was 50-50 on it; I suppose it was a "translator's choice" moment, at the time. Even today, I have doubts about some of the quotes, but I leave it as is a reference to myself.

if you're still working on them, eva-beatrice's first declaration quote i think is closer to "Just try to break my magic!" than "Please watch while I assault you with my magic!" basically she's inviting them to smash her illusions & explain her crimes, so it's more of a challenge than a "please let me kill you" thing
For what it is worth, it's been many years since this video's release. The game got a Steam release with full translations but no English dub and no translation for these declarations. This video remains as the best source to see these translations. Thank you for updating the video a few years ago to make sure that the translations are still available.

My personal favourites are Beatrice's "Ima koso ougon no tobira wo hirakou zo!", Black Battler's "Omae mo ore no mono ni naru" and "Dare mo ore no sonzai wa hitei dekinai", Eva's "Daaaaaaaa----meeeeee!" and Ronove's "Kore wa anata no game de wa nai" Also, I think everyone loves Lambda's "It's SHOWTIME!~"

Well, Will should have a lot of character specific quotes. Representing the audience's intelligence isn't an easy job. >.>; That, and I say that B.Battler's is the most epic~ >.

Yes, I was aware of that and I initially translated the line that way. However, I didn't think a straight translation here was appropriate for a few reasons. Mostly, it made more sense to me to place more emphasis on the Golden Land rather than the gates. Secondly, I decided to abstract Ougon and place it in context, which would be short for Ougon Kyou. Also, I translated my lines as if for use in the English language. "Now the Golden Gates will open!" sounded awkward to me. My opinion only.

It doesn't matter whether he's a magical familiar of a misguided witch or the stuffed lion doll/imaginary friend of a poor kid living in a broken family. It doesn't change the fact that Rosa's losing her gourd over something that hasn't (and can't if you are on the side disproving the use of magic in the Rokkenjima Massacre) caused any real harm or misfortune to her.

Should've added a translation. I would side with Witch Hunt based on their translations of Gertrude's/Cornelia's speaking style, which would translate to: "Please, allow me to appear before you. (to Dlanor)" Kinkei could mean a general "you", and tsutsushinde could make for a "I shall ___", but it didn't sound respectful enough.
(sorry for being annoying) but I found another mistake in 2:41 where Siesta 00 says "Seimetsu jageki sen junbi!" It should be "Seimitsu sogeki sen junbi!"
It's an Umineko thing, most likely about what Will would say about Erika's theories and what-not. I would've thought it was "white knight" with no prior Umineko experience. xD
I love joking that this game is Canon to Umineko, because it proves Rosa-Beatrice/George/Nanjo and denies Shkanontrice (Because I've played as Battler and gotten Shannon/Kanon team in story mode) :3
