Terry Bradshaw's Favorite Pittsburgh Steelers Stories with Franco Harris | SiriusXM
• Terry Bradshaw's Favor...
Of all the people commenting on Franco’s death, Terry was the one I most wanted to hear.
Fantastic share!
Thanks Franco from a kid from Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1972 , me and my brother used to throw the nerf football and think we were you and Bradshaw and Swann , stalworth! Been a Steelers fan my whole life! Thank you Mr Harris!
I met Terry Bradshaw at a coffee shop in San Francisco one morning in the 90s. Could not have been more friendly. I told him how he broke the hearts of two kids (my younger brother and I. 10 and 9 years old.) that day with that damn immaculate reception. He got a huge kick out of it. He said yeah I get that a lot out here. RIP Franco Harris. 🏈🙏
🙂
My two favorite guys, thanks for all the joy you brought to the game. God bless you both and RIP Franco.
Not a Steelers fan but they are a huge part of starting my journey as a NFL football fan back in the 70s. They were the dominant franchise. Joe Green, TB, Lynn Swann, Franco Harris (and others) were legendary. Condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace Franco Harris.
Thank you Terry for sharing these stories about Franco. It actually made me feel a little bit better about the loss of one of my childhood heroes.
We use to drive down for the Pittsburgh games back in the 70s from Toronto, when football was football, the Steelers have been my team ever since...RIP Franco.
Even though he broke my Raider heart with that immaculate muff, I mean, catch - he gave me some of the most unforgettable Sundays of my life. God bless and godspeed, Captain...
This Man and that Team, CREATED STEELER NATION! RIP Franco, you will live in sports History and God Bless you on your journey to Valhalla!❤❤❤
Those days will never be again. They are truly missed
I'm a Tom Landry-era Dallas Cowboys fan.
Even though Rocky Bleier is my favorite Steelers RB from those great Super Bowl teams, I have to say that Mr. Franco Harris made me cry almost as
much as the 1960s
Green Bay Packers. What a tremendous player he was, and was a tremendous tandem he and Bleier made.

God bless our pro football heroes from a by-gone era.🏈
RIP LEGEND!
Had to be strange for Terry after just filming that spot on the Immaculate Reception.
Was great to hear him reminisce about Franco.
I was incredibly saddened to hear of Franco's passing. He brought joy to everyone who appreciated the game of football and the virtue of humility. One of the greats on and off the field. He is up in Heaven with Coach Noll, Mike Webster, Coach Madden John Matuszak, Lyle Alzado, and Jack Tatum. What a football game they can have in the Great Beyond. Bet on Franco to score on the next play. Rest in eternal peace Number 32.
Steeler Nation is in mourning..RIP Mr. Harris
I was waiting for you, Terry! 💗
Rip Mr. Harris#32🙏❤️
A sad day before his retiring of his number. RIP Franco.
R.I.P. Franco Harris ❤
Excellent n heartwarming story I'm from Pittsburgh I'm 57 now live in DC when my sister texted me this morning who lives in Pittsburgh on the passing just freaking unreal omgosh still can't believe it.
just tragic. Days before his jersey is retired, (don't know why it took this long for his jersey to be retired.) but also it's just days before Christmas as well. My heart really goes out to his family. All i know from reports so far is that he died in his sleep.
Wow! I didn’t know, that Franco died in his sleep? Gosh, Peace to # 32 NFL Hall Of Framer Pittsburgh Steeler… Franco Harris💕 For all Eternity, R.I.P. Loved him so much
I grew up a 49ers in SF I became a Steelers fan because of Franco Harris and I wore 32 when I played football in high school
I’ve heard Cliff Harris and Charlie Waters tell the same story from SB 13 in documentary on TH-cam called Battle of Champions. It was Charlie Waters, not Cliff Harris, who ran into the referee while trying to make the tackle. On the documentary Franco said (paraphrasing) “sometimes everything just lines up right at the time and in this case even the referee lined up right at that time” 😀
RIP Franco Harris you and Mr Rooney please watch over the Steelers they need you guys.
Franco 4 ever
Rip
Why wasn't his number retired decades ago. I don't understand why it has taken so long. Can anyone out there make any sense out of it.
It’s the Rooney way. I believe only 2 Jerseys for the Steelers have been retired. Number 70 Ernie Stautner and 75 Joe Green and this weekend 32 Franco. Steelers is just super old school and have a formula in place that they have used since Art Rooney took over in 32 (I think 32). They also do not sign new contracts during the season. Their is a host of old school things the orginazation does that makes most people go “thats silly”. But I think out of respect to Art and all he did they kept all these old school practices in place.
@@kellykiser7600 Thanks for the great response
@@waynejohanson1083 Hey man, my pleasure. Have a great day and a great life. Hope we both get to enjoy several more Steelers Super Bowls before we are called to leave.
There are something like 19 Steelers in the Hall 0f Fame. The NFL has rules that certain positions must wear certain numbers. If every Hall of Famer had his number retired, they'd run out of numbers. RIP Franco.
(John 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
As believable as the Easter Bunny. 😂😂😂😂😂

(Hebrews 9:27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
(Hebrews 10:31) It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
What numbers other than Franco’s number have the Steelers retired?
Time to retire #12

Maybe Terry's jersey goes after Franco's, Brett....
RIP, #32.....
Exactly 👍🏈
