how the f*** is he underrated a-hole? He's a living legend that had 2 long lasting tv series. M-W-C absolutely ruled American television for 11 years. Al Bundy is the most famous character ever.
I met Franco in Hilton Head, SC in about 1992. I was shocked that he was such a soft-spoken, yet articulate man. He graciously signed an autograph for me to give to my dad, who was a big fan of his.
Yes Franco is a great man by all accounts. He spoke up for Joe Paterno when the insanity set in at Penn State. It cost Franco business but he turned out to be right in the end. I will always admire Franco.
Franco was my favorite RB as a kid, a Steelers fan while growing up in the Midwest. The guy was a brute on the field, like trying to drag down a horse mid-stride. Always liked his humble demeanor. And while Franco, like the rest of us, can't live forever - The Immaculate Reception will.
Franco was a Stud! Not Yards like O.J., or Walter, or Earl Campbell. But, he kind of was part of a stall of Backs. You had Franco, Rocky Bleir, Sidney Thornton, Frenchy Fuqua, Preston Pearson, etc. Like Bradshaw, Franco did enough to get 4 rings. All those All-pro players, would love to have Franco and Terry’s rings, over the Yards.
Of course harris is a Fan, because 1966, he scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.
Franco came to my store for some publicity stunt, don't know if it was an endorsement, or something else. I only know he was smack in the middle of Cleveland, and Cincinnati, so the only turnout were Steeler fans. I realized Ohio had a whole lot of Steeler fans. lol!
Loved the 70,s Steelers, Pat's sucked back then, Now cant stand Pittsburgh and had 20 years of DARTH HOODIE, Belichick's a riot ... pretty good coach too
Came to rewatch this after learning of Franco Harris' passing today.
Very underrated actor and great guy.

That was an Immaculate Autograph.
Met Franco at an event in Pittsburgh he couldn't have been a bigger douchebag

Everybody who ever met Franco says he's the most humble and gracious person. Great quality for a human being.
Ed tells great stories.
RIP Franco Harris. You will be missed by many
If I could sit down and have a beer with any celebrity, it would be Ed O'neill
He'd Fo Sho be one of many I'd love to have a chat with!
This is FANTASTIC! Love this story ❤️. RIP FRANCO 🙏
Just insane to visualize Franco Harris being a Fan Boy and really shy! Great story that I'm sure Mr. Harris would laugh at too! RIP Mr. Immaculate!

Dutch was such an underrated comedy.
Bless. You. ED. O"NEILL. AND. FRANCO. HARIS
But he is part of Married With Children and Modern Family dynasties. Both shows lasted 11 years and could have gone even further.
Polk High legend! 🏈
Ed was with the Steelers in '69. Franco was a rookie in '72.
RIP Franco!😭😭😭
What a great story.

Indeed. I’m glad someone mentioned those facts lest people be distracted by it having been Sofia Vergara’s wedding, which is like the C- plot here.
Franco: "OMG, that's the Polk High legend Al Bundy over there .... I wonder if I can meet him?" 🤣
Franco can't play anymore. RIP.
What a bunch of random people to be at a wedding together lol
Ed O'Neill, Franco Harris, Channing Tatum, and Pitbull standing around the bar having laughs --- I wish I was there!
Did Franco ever have a 4 touchdown game
Now that's funny
🤣🤣🤣
At first I got pissed because I thought you were insulting Franco --- but then I remembered the "Married with Children" reference 🤣🤣
Imagine all the signed Steelers memorabilia you could get having Franco Harris as a fan of yours. What a man-cave you'd have.
Franco Harris, that fantastic Seattle Seahawk. 🤣
yeah, that was a shame.
Kinda sucks he finished his career in Seattle, but that's the harsh business of football
i always thought it was "frank o'harris". when i though of it. which admittedly wasn't often.
Rich Eisen always talks over people
