Hi Father, I am struggling with scrupulosity since 2019. Although I have improved, I still have this guilt whenever I pray. I think bad things will happen or my prayer will not be granted if I will commit a sin. My compulsion is to repeat a prayer until thoughts about sins are gone. Can you give me tips on how to deal with it? Thank you!
Hello Father, I realised I am struggling with scrupulosity few days ago . I realised that i was praying only to satisfy this compulsion inside me . I do not know how to read the Bible , how to live out Jesus' words or even how to pray the rosary or any repitative meditative prayers without getting obsessed. Please can you give me some tips to read Jesus' words, pray these wonderful prayers that I love without rooting in compulsions but in true humility and trust in God . I want to love God. Ever since , I realised my struggle, I'm so confused as to what to do next . I am starving spiritually . I do not know what to do .
IF you realize that prayers with words or spiritual reading is a trigger for you, stop it. You cannot force your way through it. If it is a trigger it is a trigger. Remind yourself that the important and essential component of all prayer is simply being present. You choose to be in the presence of God in response to the Spirit of God. What happens after that response is nothing more than details. Choose to be present for some length of time each day and eliminate the busyness of the moment. That is a good start and it will lead to a healthy spiritual response.
Hi. I want you to know that I also struggle with similar situations. I tend to have a set and strict routine of praying and Bible reading that I realized was driving a false sense of the presence of God, when in reality I was just trying to manage the anxiety of feeling as if I had offended God... I recently have changed my relationship with prayer and Bible reading, by letting the Holy Spirit guide me to it, and to have little expectations in reading a prayer so that I am not upset or feel anxiety if I feel as if I am not connected enough to God. This has been a good step for me towards a more normal relationship with God that is not driven and fueled by anxious feelings.
Thanks Father. I'm glad your back.
Well, Father, that was profound. Will need to listen again -- with hopes to internalize it all. Thank you for caring about us.
God bless you Father for this ministry. Nice to not be alone. But I pray we all can be cured or improved !
You understand us ❤️ thank you Father 🙏. Your advice has worked wonders for me
Thank you very much for the work that you’re doing!
Thank you for the light you share.
Hello, if you have time, could you possibly make a video about restitution?
Father, could you please do a video on the "you shall not do to others what you don't want done on you"?

@Come.HolySpirit thank you my dear friend 🧡
Can you do a video topic on magic in media? (i.e. Star Wars) Or uses of God's name in vain in media?
