For anyone wondering “Takedown” are a series of movies promoting both Need for Speed Undercover and Nissan’s then brand new 370Z in which EA had an exclusive year long deal to feature the vehicle in the game. The story is a somewhat of a tie in to the main games plot. The voicemail left by Hector on Jess’s answering machine is the moment in Undercover when the player takes him out, and the Chinese mafia are called in by Chase, which the player is still under the impression works for the authorities, when she’s really working for Chau Wu. I’m glad somebody re uploaded these because I remember them well and there pretty hard to find in decent quality now. Hard to believe it’s been so long, the 370z has been out for so long but it feels like it came out yesterday. Now Z35 is around the corner. Time flies.
You sure this ties in with the main story? Hector’s last name is different in this version, in the campaign of both PS2 and main versions his last name is Maio, but in these shorts it’s García.
@@alexsaffamerica Well, I’m hispanic and the norm is people use your parental surname when referring to you, of course with Brasil being an exception. In Hector’s case he’s mexican so this rule still applies

I think it like a meta or easter egg, hitman had that scene where the guy goes thru a room where 2 teens are playing a game that resembles the hitman games.

I never really figured out what this miniseries had to do with Undercover other than having 2 unrelated characters being named Hector and an Asian cartel being messed with.
