As I am watching these lovely videos I am remembering this great Oak tree my Grandpa planted when I was little I was 5. He moved the tree from a place where it didn't have enough room, and everyone told him it was too hot, and it was too sick and it would never live. It will, my Grandpa said. He watered it, and fawned over it every day, making sure it was loved, and every time people said, it will never live, it's too hot, you can't just dig up a tree and move it like that! It will live. My Grandma would say patiently and fertilize it, water it, love it and patiently nurture it. The tree lived, and a part pf my Grandpa; even when he was alive; was in that tree,When he passed when I was 7, we always called it Grandpa's tree. It grew big and strong and proud. It shaded the house, it watched us play games in the yard, it hid our easter eggs, weathered ice storms and a tornado. It lived. I get on google earth sometimes just to check on Grandpa's tree to make sure she is still there.

The Oak is a tree that I've always loved to stand near or sit under. Under an Oak tree I am calm and able to think clearly. Oddly enough I often felt the need to protect Oak trees. After some time I believed that the love of my life would have the strength of an Oak, the ability to get me to that calm state, and be the person I will wish to protect above all else.

I just saw your saw your video on the oak tree.I am born on July 7th mysrlf. I have to say I had a very revealing meditation when I was sitting under my usual oak tree in school. When you mentioned the spirit of the oak talking to the Oracle it brought me back to that moment ... And it showed me the truth. Brought me from an introvert to a complete extrovert in one hours time.. So your words are and do speak the truth. Plus I don't know if you have been told this but you have one powerful aura around you. It showed in this video while you were sitting by the oak . blessed be!

More, more, more treetastic videos!!!!!:) I loved it! I learn so much from you. I was born on the summer solstice and did not realize the mighty oak was my tree but it explains a lot! I just became a witch in training about 4 weeks ago. A day before the hurricane hit the east coast of Virginia in the USA (where I live) a young red oak rolled a very nice branch right in my path (just about) as I was driving. I decided that would be the branch for my first wand. I love it and my new friend.

Thank you, Laura, for this great video! Old oak trees hold a wondrous attraction. I am originally from Indiana USA. Most of the land is farmland and there are few large oaks in the countryside. Even the forests of southern Indiana are mostly second growth. Ironically some of the best places to find large old oak trees are in historic neighborhoods in large cities. I lived in Indianapolis for 3 years and saw many as I visited historic neighborhoods. (I am into historic building preservation). I often thought it would be neat if someone cataloged the location and description of the largest, oldest trees in each city and state with the intention of preserving their character.
Also, based on what you presented, I was born in the sign of the Oak! No wonder I love them! Peace, Love, and Light to all! Thanks again, Laura. Jack Fisher -- Dallas, TX IG jacksailfish444

The Irish for oak is dair in point of fact. And alder is fearnog, willow is sailleach, birch is beith, yew is iur, apple is abhaill, hazel is coll, rowan is caortann, hawthorn is sceach gheal, blackthorn is draighean, holly is cuileann, elder is trom, poplar is poibleog, furze is aiteann, ash is fuinseog, heather is fraoch, reed is giolcach. Grape vine and silver fir are not native to anywhere near Ireland. There are no such words as; luis, nuinn, huath, quert, muinn, straif, ailm, onn, ura, eadha, or idho in the irish language. The word tinne means fire, the word gort means
field, the word ruis means Russia, and the word ceirt means rag. YOU HAVE BEEN LIED TO ABOUT THE IRISH LANGUAGE BY AN ENGLISHMAN.
"The Celtic Tree Calendar" was invented by this englishman in the 20th.century in point of historic fact. The ancient celts did not use a solar calendar, they used a lunar calendar, which means that every month was a lunar cycle, from new moon-full moon-dark moon. 1 lunar cycle is roughly 29.5 days, 12 cycles is a bit over 354 days, and 13 cycles is a bit under 384 days in point of astronomical fact
