Saw this video when I was thinking about buying this watch, didn’t think it would be relevant to me, but here I am months later!
I literally thought mine got a defect 😅 Luckily I found your video. Thanks mate
Happy to help!
Great advice, but can we talk about how the microphone quality on this video is SO good?
I learn by doing .you delivered.. clear step by step instructions... thanks Jonah!

Hey, just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for this! My Timex was doing this as well and I was super-annoyed that it would never reset properly! Now I can go back to wearing mine to keep track of time!
Nice! Happy to help
Thank you so much for this. I have a Timex Intelligent Quartz flyback with a similar issue and confirm this works on it - the top button advances forward, the bottom button advances backwards. I was thinking my watch was broken and needed service. Thank you!!!
Thanks for the information. Love from India.
Thank you for the video. Short sweet and to the point!! Love it
Glad it was helpful!
Great video man! I just bought an Expedition chrono- and then tenths wouldn’t reset. Returned it, just got replacement- and again the tenths was even more wrong. After this fix- no more! Thanks.
Happy to help!
Couldn't thank you enough
Thanks man! that works for all Timex chronographs and I just got my Expedition Stealth Chrono adjusted now thanks to you.

Fantastic and great to know...thank you!
I dont have a Waterbury but the models were similar enough that the actions crossed over!!
Thanks a lot. It help me fixed my victorinox watch. Super easy
thanks bruh it's really helpful
I thought my timex was broken
Happy to help!
When making adjustments with my MK1 to the large Chronograph second hand, pressing and holding the top pusher button down will fast advance the hand until released. Once the desired position is almost reached, then press the pusher one step at a time to get the hand exactly where you want it.
your the man!! was about to return my watch
Thanks man that's what I was looking for
thank you
Much obliged. Same for Timex Expedition. I suppose they have the same mechanism, or it's just similar.
thank you so much
Thabk you my hero!!!!
You saved my watches 😅
Thank you. I got MK1 Chrono but works the same.
THANK YOU!
Thanks dude!
Google video it fixed my weekender chronograph!!
Thanks Homie
I think you can do something similar with most quartz chronographs.
Good job bro 👍🏻
Thanks! I thought my watch was ruined and unsellable!
Thanks.
Thanks!
Thanx!
Hey Jonna, could you do a mineral glass replacement video? This is one of my favorite watches but like a lot of other people. I unfortunately got a defective crystal that cracked after some time 😢
I love it, thanks
Thank you so much for this! I thought it was broken! Now, could you tell me how to set the date?
Glad I could help. You should be able to set the date by pulling the crown out only one position and then rotating. Try both directions.
@@the1010watchclub boom! Thank you!!
This is literally the video I was looking for. The hand kept resetting to the 3 second position and it was getting me so frustrated. Thanks for the tip!
Good job
Thank you!
so when you’re normally timekeeping, is the second hand supposed to move?
Hiii i am no watch expert so this may sound dumb but in this type of watch, is it possible to make where the hands of the three small circles are not moving (especially the one in the bottom) but the bigger hand is the only one moving (the thin big second hand). Any info will help a lottt thanks!!
Thank you so much Brother :)
This didn't work for me on Timex Marlin, not sure what I am doing wrong.
Great, job done! Thank you! :-)
Now: I just changed the battery, but I can't seem to close the back cover again. Too tight, afraid to push too hard or use a hard object... Can you please offer advice?
If you have a crystal press, that would work great. Or maybe a hard object wrapped in a cloth napkin?
How do you adjust the date
how to change the date?
I thought the top right dial was broken, I’m still unsure how to understand it
Anyone have a watch like mine where everything seems to work, including the indiglo, except it doesn't keep time?? The stopwatch works but hour, minute & bottom second hands don't move so watch always stays at the same time. The large second hand works when you use the stopwatch (top button) feature & everything resets to the normal positions. This is brand new out of the box & the 2nd one I've received like this. Guess there's a reason these things are so cheap.
on my timex the minute hand isn’t timekeeping
aren't those stated in the manual?
but who reads THOSE? 😂
@@the1010watchclub LOL... no one except me perhaps...
My bottom button doesn't work at all 💀 don't buy anything off Amazon.
It’s a tricky place for watch buying. I’ve run into issues in the past as well
Thank you!
Good job.
Thank you!
