- Here is the simple reset procedure for the latest generation of WB400P batteries. Most batteries shipped and sold since the start of 2023 have this feature. It only takes a couple of minutes, and it should be easy for most people to do.
If this reset does not work for you, or if you have an older battery that does not have the convenient reset button, you will likely need our battery resuscitation service. It is $39 and can be ordered through the website at: gomolight.com/...
Hope this helps!
OMG, you sir, just saved me $$$$ THANK YOU!
Thank You so much
🎉 2 minutes straight to the point and it worked perfectly 🎉
Thanks for this video. I used a car battery 12volt charger. I used two of the screws from this battery case (one on the positive and one on the negative so that I could have points). I held the positive/negative for 1 minute and that was enough to jumpstart it. So happy!
Hey there- it looks like my battery pack is a little deader than this use case satisfies. Any chance you could walk me through exactly what you did here?
It worked. Thanks! Reminder to remove battery from your ad400 when not in use.
I always remove the battery and it still went into hibernation. But so glad I found this video. Saved me money
Seriously, thank you so much!
Cheers for posting this helpful procedure. This helped reset my battery: quick and easy!
Thank you so much! Works perfect!
I reviewed several videos that solve this problem and this is definitely the simplest and most effective. Thank you very much and God bless you!
Maan you are truly a life saver! I seen other videos, and this was the best and quickest one. Appreciate you much
You're a lifesaver! Thank you so much!
Thanks a Ton sir, my AD400pro battery gone to hybernation and didn't charged as well, and i foolow your video and do the process step by step and get the result... Again Thanks a lot
Thanks for this one!
discover this issue before my shot tomorrow, thank you so much, you save me! it worked!
Thank you so much. I bought it two months ago, use it for one job and store it for around one month and the issue happen. I remember I did a full charge before storing it. It is quite disappointing thought the problem has solved.
Thank you so much 🙏
Thank you so much for this video! Such a quick fix!
Perfect!! Has made my day / solved it!! Thankyou
Thanks!
Thank you!!! this video helped me!!
It works, thank you so much!
It worked. Thanx for this video
Perfect!!! tks
Thank you!
Good to know there are six cells. Should be easy to refurbish.
So I bought this a year or two ago...never opened it, and finally got around the trying it out. Looks like the battery is dormant.... I tried exactly what you said, but it didn't work. Any other ideas??
@@gregbibens Your cells have drained too low for a simple reset. You can send it in for our reconditioning service if you are in the USA. gomolight.com/collections/repairs/products/ad400pro-and-ad600pro-battery-reset-and-reconditioning
I wish this worked for me however within 6 months my light is nothing more clutter. One of my AD200s also has an issue; battery is fine but it won't power up after a year. The failure of 2 out of my 3 Godox lights makes Godox the biggest regret of any photo purchases. Their customer service was communicating but after sending the pics of the battery as they asked I have not heard back from Godox.
I purchased my Ad400 almost a year ago. Just opened it for the first time. I did this to find out a battery leaked. So of course will not work. Any suggestions?
@@amandaharris8088 The battery leaked? I have never seen that, and I have dealt with hundreds of WB400P batteries. The first step is to get that battery out of the home or studio. It is unsafe. The next is you will need to replace the battery. There is no saving a lithium-ion battery that has leaked.
This is a lifesaver for me! I bought these 3 months ago and now they wouldn't charge. Quick and easy fix and now they are charging again.
Any answers for the fan not turning off when using the 400pro?
Issue with the fan control board. Needs replacement. gomolight.com/collections/repairs/products/head-unit-replacement-repair-for-ad400pro
@@MoLightStore thank you. But what stinks is that I bought it a couple months ago. 🤦🏻♂️
@@mrmeza78 Then it should be covered under warranty. Contact your retailer.
@@MoLightStore will do. Thank you.
What's the difference between your process and simply pressing the button on the outside of the unit without opening it?
I have found that pressing the button on the outside does not work very often in my experience, so this gives the solution that works every time -- provided the cells have not drained too low.
@@MoLightStore update: got back home and it worked.
It doesn't work for me at all
Then your cells have drained down too far and your battery is in full hibernation. If you are in the US, we have a service to bring it back. gomolight.com/collections/repairs/products/ad400pro-and-ad600pro-battery-reset-and-reconditioning
@@MoLightStore I am from Romania but thx enyway
I didn’t not I had a inset button battery gage
nope. did nothing for mine. i have two who are dead and do not load. other two who are fine.
@@designobservatory Your cells have drained too low and will need to be brought up to minimum charge before the board will reset and the charger will recognize the battery and complete the charge. The link to order this service is included under the service.
@@MoLightStore right. this solved my problem finally: th-cam.com/video/pkyHHNJuYuM/w-d-xo.html
thank you
THANK YOU! This worked great for me!
Thank you it worked perfectly!
I cant tell how many times you pressed the right button (looks like three?).
Just once
@MoLightStore thanks! While that didn't work for me, I managed to "jump" the battery by connecting a charger to the positive and negative terminals on the board, for about 30 seconds.
This gave it enough of a charge to be recognised by the charger, thankfully.
Thanks for your effort with the video as well as replying to my comment !
