MoLight buys used Godox flashes
Have Godox flashes that you don't use much any more? Or maybe it is time to upgrade to something bigger and better? Whatever the reason, we are interested in your gently used, working, Godox AD-series flashes. We might also be interested in your rougher gear, but that will depend on the condition. So, gather up your gear, complete our form, then submit it to us and you are one step closer to turning your gear into store credit or cold, hard cash.

Thanks for this video. I used a car battery 12volt charger. I used two of the screws from this battery case (one on the positive and one on the negative so that I could have points). I held the positive/negative for 1 minute and that was enough to jumpstart it. So happy!

My battery has plenty of juice, but it’s not connecting to the charger. This reset didn’t seem to work.

I wish this worked for me however within 6 months my light is nothing more clutter. One of my AD200s also has an issue; battery is fine but it won't power up after a year. The failure of 2 out of my 3 Godox lights makes Godox the biggest regret of any photo purchases. Their customer service was communicating but after sending the pics of the battery as they asked I have not heard back from Godox.

My battery doesn't have those two reset holes, any suggestion? :(
Mine doesn't seem to have them either. There are 2 wires running from the top left (in your photo) to where these reset holes should be, but they are covered with some sort of rubbery stuff (like to hold the wires in?). FYI, my light is a Flashpoint, but that's just Godox branded by Adorama, I believe.

What's the difference between your process and simply pressing the button on the outside of the unit without opening it?
I have found that pressing the button on the outside does not work very often in my experience, so this gives the solution that works every time -- provided the cells have not drained too low.

What's the model part number of the coiled cable that attaches the PB960 Power Pack to a Nikon V1 Pro ??? I tried the NX cable but that doesn't fit, that's for SB flashes....
Godox Canon Cx cord. Godox uses the Canon type port on all flashes with power ports.

Thanks so much! I took mine apart and charged it using the two large terminals, but the battery never worked until I did this reset.

Thanks for the tip! I just rigged up a huge Chimera softbox to the AD400 and it seems to be stressing the clamp. Wish they had kept the ratcheting clamp!

what's the model part number of the coiled cable that attaches the PB960 Power Pack to a Sony V1 Pro flash (V1Pro-S)???
It’s is most likely the Godox Canon Cx cord, which is what Godox has traditionally used to connect all previous speedlights like the TT685 and such to the PB960 Propac. I’m reasonably sure that they have standardized that part across all power ports, regardless of brand compatibility.

I think one would be fine, but…the challenge with full length portraits and lighting with LED color is that you cannot get color on the floor without getting color on the subject.
I'd rather hear a robot voice vs reading those text bubbles.
Great! I suggest you read them out loud like a robot would. Then everyone will be happy.
As an oldie I get more from reading the bubbles as I can control the video play with the "spacebar". this way I can pause the video until I have read and understood, then move on at my own pace (slow). Different strokes for different folks. In any case the "content" was good.
I love the simple explanation of how to operate the V1. Talk to me like I'm a seven year old and I might be able to understand all the options! ha-ha ;)
