Of course everyone is different, but for me, I usually say it casually pretty early on but say it with sincerity later when it feels right. In English I think you can get your point across with your tone.
From the US: My husband said I love you only 3 months in, but I thought that was way too soon. I waited until a year to say I love you. When I said it he wasn't surprised because he said I showed it through my actions. Took my thunder haha. We have been married for 6 years ❤️
It took about 3 months into our relationship and he said it first. I knew I loved him in just 2 months but I held back from saying it because I thought it was too early. Now after being together almost 3 years, I think there's no time frame on when to say I love you for the first time. If you feel it, then say it but make sure you mean it.
For me, I love you means a deep feeling as well as a commitment to a relationship. And in my mother tongue there are several variations of I love you depending on how deep your feelings currently are. But you wouldn't say it easily or early.
The first date I went on with my husband, I went home and wrote in my journal, I've met the man I'm going to marry. We will be celebrating our 47th. year anniversary
I'm a widow. But my husband when I met him, he was Russian. We ran smack dab into each other at a hotel. I got kind of mad about it, because I was tired. But the next day with my friends, he got me breakfast. One month in, he said I love you. I come from a close type of family in Texas. So, we say I love you pretty fast to family and friends. I didn't know if it was going to work out with us, because of him being Russian, and would move on. I miss him every day. Watching you guys gives me that warm feeling. Because it reminds me of how he and I acted.

I'm surprised his previous GFs called him goofy and said he doesn't take life seriously. Kyuho doesn't seem that goofy, maybe a little silly at times. IDK is there a right time when to say "i love you", just when you feel about it. I am quite skeptical about dating apps, there are so many fake people. Of course there are successful stories...
I think saying "I love you" in a relationship depends on the people and the relationship itself. I've dated someone for 4 years and watched almost a year to say it and then I dated someone else for 3 years and said it in a few months. I'm also from the U.S.
The dating culture in my tribe is funny. When you tell people that you are dating and if your family knows that you’re dating, the first question they ask is “ can he chop wood? can he herd sheep? does his families have animals? do he have a corn field? What are his four clans?” 😂 and this usually happens when you are in that friend phase 😂 it so funny

OMG dancing Lee's 2011 hair 😂😂😂😂😂 I mean I know that Kyuho's hair is always stylish and cool but his 2011 hair is just hilarious 😂😂 (I mean it's such a typical fashionable look in 2011 😂😂🙈)
When I first met my husband 46 years ago we were like two tom cats fighting but eventually started getting along!! I was a waitress and he always sat in my section tipped me well and I started realizing how funny and handsome he was but since we were mixed races Black/white, everyone told us it wasn't a good idea and though we almost broke up we stopped listening to them and got married.!!!!
I've been watching you guys since you first started your channel six years ago - yes I've watched the hanbok try ons and halifax viisits and cup proposal and two weddings - and for some reason my youtube account switched and was not subscribed to your channel for the past 2 years and I just realized it a few days ago (I assumed I was following you guys since I watched some of your videos every now and then throughout the 2 years) and now I'm watching all of your videos from 2020-2021 and this one in particular makes me laugh so much because I remember the time when Kyuho passed out with Seungbo in Hamilton hotel and now you mention that you were using Seungbo as a coverup hahaha it is crazy to see how far you two came along and I'm so glad you guys are still making these amazing videos where you don't act or do things on purpose as 'influencers' but just casually film your daily lives. Thanks for sharing so much of your everyday life with us and I can really relate to a lot of your conversations as I'm also in Seoul with my boyfriend from a different culture. Love your content!
WOW 🥺 Thanks so much for the very kind words and for watching our videos over the years ♥️ Hahah, you remembered SO many specific details too 😂 We almost forgot about that Hamilton Hotel night!
So two years later.....I have questions. 1) What are some (good, bad, indifferent) things you introduced each other to, as far as food, customs, ideas.....? 2) How quickly did your respective families accept you as a couple with marriage in mind? 3) How many languages does Kyuho speak, and what are they? (Nevermind. I just watched one of your older videos, and I see he speaks Korean, Russian and English. Any new ones since then?) 4) You said Kyuho lived abroad for a while. What other countries besides Canada and Korea have each of you lived in / traveled to?
I love your stories about how you two met......Personally if I met my husband through social media today I would also "block" "left chat" ahahaha because we met in college and unintentionally got drunk together during a on campus event. I tried to avoid him when I ran into him later but he was sweet enough to keep persuing me. Now it's going on 12 years together. 😅
Good question. As an American (with Eastern European parents) who grew up in a large city (my friends from small towns are use to people marrying much younger so everything there is faster Im told) “I love you” is a BIG step. It’s the next big step after you’ve decided to not see other people and be in a committed relationship (and that commitment isn’t until weeks or months of dating). I love you isn’t “I REALLY like you a lot” (which is what it seems to be in Korea to me) That’s what I love you means in a friendship. But in a romantic or sexual relationship I love you means “I’m IN love with you”. Like “I’m imaging the possibility of you being in my life forever if things work out”. It’s pretty meaningful. Of course this is just my personal experience and the general society I spend my time around. Oh, and for me that is never less than a year. 🤷♀️
좋아해(I like you)와 사랑해(I love you)가 나타내는 감정의 깊이에 차이가 있다고 느껴서요. "좋아해" 는 기호에 대한 걸 나타낼 때도 쓰니까 연인간의 감정을 표현하기에는 부족한? 마음을 다 담지 못하는 말같다는 생각이 들어요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 그리고 말에는 힘이 있으니 이사람을 사랑한다고 말하기 시작하면 더 마음이 가게 되는 것 같아요. :)
Q: How long into a new relationship is it acceptable/typical to say “I love you”? ‘사랑해’란 단어를 얼마정도 사귄후에야 쓰기괜찮다고 생각하시나요? 😁
한국은 만난지 100일을 기념하는게 있어서 그런지 대부분 100일 안에는 사랑한다는 말을 하는거 같은데 저같은 경우도 여친한테 100일때 사랑한다고 처음으로 말 했네요.
Of course everyone is different, but for me, I usually say it casually pretty early on but say it with sincerity later when it feels right. In English I think you can get your point across with your tone.

Best video🥺 y’all too cute!
OMG dancing Lee's 2011 hair 😂😂😂😂😂
I mean I know that Kyuho's hair is always stylish and cool but his 2011 hair is just hilarious 😂😂 (I mean it's such a typical fashionable look in 2011 😂😂🙈)
I loved this video!!! It was super funny! And your chemistry on camera is always so fun to watch ! Your guys are the most adorable couple on TH-cam! 😍
46 years together! What a beautiful story 🥹 Congrats, you two-and many more happy years together! ❤️
I have a feeling this video will blow up
From what I’m seeing, the “dancing Lee” has certainly been tamed. Adorable couple in their cultural eccentricities.
dancing Lee too funny, i couldn't stop laughing...great sense of humor...thanks for sharing
I look forward to your videos so much, you guys are so real no hype
Thank you so much~ ☺️
So two years later.....I have questions.
Any new ones since then?)
4) You said Kyuho lived abroad for a while. What other countries besides Canada and Korea have each of you lived in / traveled to?
you guys are adorable !! wish you all the best ^^
"what the hell sarah?!?" 😭😂😂
This was super fun to watch!!
Love these types of videos! Dancing Lee could totally be a Kpop idol FOR SURE. Got the looks and the hair! That style reminds me a lot of Big Bang.
