When your mum said she feels so connected to you guys through watching your videos I felt the same way. I'd just be coming home from work sometimes and wondering what you guys are up to and looking forward to your new video. My 21yo daughter is currently doing an internship in Sth Africa (& touring around Europe thereafter). All in all she'll be away for 6 months. It was hard to say goodbye to her at the airport but I knew she had worked hard for the opportunity...& I'm extremely proud of her for doing it. I think any parent would agree that at the end of the day it's not about us, it's about our kids & their happiness/fulfilment in life. But YES, thankful for social media, internet & facetime for keeping us connected! Had a giggle at your Mum & Kyuho at 13:05 - cute moment :D

Loved the interview, your mom is very chill and I loved the way she answered the questions...and like Kyuho, I can't call my parents-in-law by their names, I am Nigerian and my husband is Canadian, and in my culture it is disrespectful to call you Parent-in-laws by their name lol. It was very interesting to hear from your mother about her point of view about you and Kyuho dating. She’s such a stark contrast between Kyuho’s mother. They’re both equally sweet and loving, with Sarah’s mother being more timid and camera shy (probably why you had to get her drunk XD) and Kyuho’s mother being more bold and expressive (that’s why she’s a PhD). Kyuho’s mother was more worried about Kyuho being in an intercultural relationship initially, but more liberal and open to change. Meanwhile Sarah’s mother was not worried about sarah being in an intercultural relationship, but rather Sarah not being able to come home often, and at the same time more conservative. I hereby submit that Sarah and Kyuho should interview your dad and also Sarah’s brother Kevin. OMG YOU HAVE TO INTERVIEW KEVIN AND JACKIE. THEY ARE SO AWESOME AND I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THEM AND THEIR LIFE, HOW THEY MET, WHAT THEY THOUGHT OF SARAH AND KYUHO’S RELATIONSHIP, CATS VS. DOGS ETC. My mom and I were both crying when I first moved out on my own, and it was not just a few miles, but I went across the ocean to Australia for medical school. I missed my parents intently, and in Australia I didn’t have a car or phone at first, and definitely not internet access until I was able to make my way to the university campus of Flinders. But after the initial homesickness, Australia was a blast. Although it turned out in the end medical school wasn’t for me, Australia was very memorable for sure. I’m already planning for you guys to come to NYC next year. Be prepared!

How amazing that you put all this time and effort when you love your family 😍 I have 3 children, and I dont know how I would feel when my child choose to leave home. Right now I have been living away from home for 10 years, I get to go home once or twice a year and my parents visit once a year. But it is still so hard even being 32 I still miss my mom and dad so much, more seeing them now interact with my children is so sweet.
