    Thank you so much for this great, quality content! I very much enjoy all your videos. You and your wife seem like two very sweet spirits who are full of wisdom, resourcefulness, and hard work! As a mother of two teens, I am grateful for the content you share. My children have a solid resource to refer to as they start to plan their own future's. I sure hope that both of your families are so proud of you and your wife for all your hardwork! You two are inspiring! Keep up the good work! Blessings to you in 2023

    Nice job. Definitely will make things easier. I installed water lines a few years back, I always double up on stainless steel clamps. I used single clamps.........until one failed.

    • @ThePasturedHomestead
      @ThePasturedHomestead  ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually double them up as well but the guy at the supply house said that these work and hold so well that you only need one!

    Hi Zac, Judy here. I just watched you from beginning to end. It made me feel better about only having to flush one of my water tanks and snake a toilet in one of my buildings. I'm learning a lot from you, especially patience ! I'm going to send Ashlyn home with a list of my plumbing questions! 😊

    Big roll’s of pipe. Take a 2x4 tie or strap to your tractor bucket sticking out one side. Hang roll of pipe on stick drive along side of trench.

    Yes, being a plumber by trade has come in handy. Do you watch Red Poppy Ranch. (Heath and Cedar: live in Northern Idaho) Everything you see on his videos, he built All of it. He was a plumber in Arizona.
    You guys are hard working Americans living your dream - one day at a time!
    Continued Happy Days for guys like you and Heath.

    I figure having a bigger ditch to work is way easier then having a small one! Especially when your laying water lines!! Plu….the work to cover it is the same . Good job. Your doing amazing with your homestead!! Excited to see how the upstairs renovation is going!!

    We recently reconnected a severed water line to our barn and installed a hydrant. Good to have water back at the barn. Was tired of using a hose.. Glad you did the same. Great work.

    • @ThePasturedHomestead
      @ThePasturedHomestead  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Still no eggs, they were hatched July 12th so we should start getting them any day now! We are giving them great feed, oyster shells, and lots of fly larvae to help them get a kickstart on their production! I’m sure our cold spell messed with them a little bit.
