I drained mine also after 3 weeks. I think mine got Biofilm. My water wasn't clear anymore and kinda bit slimy feeling. I did find out that you can shock it and don't have to drain it so often. I hope that info helps.
Mine stays fairly clear with shocking it once every so often when it looks cloudy. I put 3 large bromine tablets in my Chem filter that came with the hot tub. It attaches to the water inlet, above one of my filters. It keeps a continuous flow. There's also a water clarifier, a defoamer, & an algae remover that sells separately. Depending on your problem. I've used them , & they work! In between adjusting the chemicals& shock. I rarely use it, as they cleared up my problem quickly. Keeping filters cleaned regularly really helped me too. We've only had to drain for leak repairs. I had no idea how or what chemicals to add to my tub, just watched plenty of you tube videos which helped me tremendously! Thanks everyone for sharing your knowledge. You guys ROCK!
We finally got ours up and running about 1 month now & love it!! I guess that 'Chem-connect' is for your bromine tabs & you can just adjust the gauge. i have the hawaii pro and the water just does not come out through the hose. it flows out the hose nozzle attachment on the bottom of the tub, but once the hose is attached (which is only 10 meters) there is no flow, there just doesnt seem to be any pressure, i have no idea what else to do. as i cannot drain the water where it sits right now
I LOVE THE PRINT ON THE OUTSIDE OF YOURS... I just got the plain old gray exterior (with the same blue/white bubbles print inside). But I CAN'T complain it was ONLY $199 bucks on Black Friday last year. 👍👍 I had it set up all spring & summer but I'm taking it down today because our temperature is supposed to drop into the 20's on Monday. 🥶 I will miss it greatly until next spring. 😥 Although it says it comes with "freeze shield technology" I DON'T trust it.

BTW: For those asking about the chemical connect it is simple to use. You put 2 bromine tablets into it; twist the cap back on & hook it into place on the tub wall (above the filter). It replaces all the chemical balancing agents (seen on the table here) all you have to do is put two new tablets in every two weeks & change your filter. I also keep one in a chemical floater in the middle of the hot tub with a scum sponge. FYI: Ring the scum sponge out after each use on the ground outside the hot tub & throw it in your dishwasher weekly. 😁
Change your filter. Take a shower before you get into the tub. If you are going to use a bathing suite, make sure it has been washed without laundry detergent or rinse it before getting into the tub. Have your water tested at a local hot tub store. They can make other recommendations.
Do you know why my hot tub does not go on when I plug it in? I had it running last year and I. Dec i had to drain it because I had a hole and had to patch it , so we did and then we filled it up and plugged it in and the light comes on and then goes out. It’s not the outlet because I used it the whole time it was running before!!!
E02 happened to me when I accidentally turned the heat on without water in the tub. To clear the code, I left the tub unplugged for 20 seconds. If it continues after the restart, you probably have an issue, and you're going to need to contact the manufacturer.
Mine is leaking from under the pump. Any ideas what it could be? I've read about bad gaskets and stuff however this thing is only 4 days old. Thank you for the video showing me how to drain it I'm about to drain mine now.
Don't worry about the distance to the electrical. Receptacle. You actually want it close as a disconnecting means in case something were to ever get caught in the pump.
The top part of my hot tub keeps going flat we sprayed soapy water on it to try and find any pin holes and nothing happened. Could it be some thing else? Thanks Ann
It’s going to start doing it more when the temperature outside decreases. Just like tire pressure in a car in cold weather. Shouldn’t be much of a problem unless you have to add air to it a lot. Every once in a while I have to add air to mine. Also be sure not to over inflate it. Could cause a seam to burst.
We’ve only had ours for about a month and we’re thinking of maybe having one of those little float things with a stuff inside instead of using the chemical connector what do you use?
I use SpaGuard Chlorinating Concentrate and PH Down. But as always, I recommend going to your local spa store and have them test your water. It should be free. They can make the proper recommendations for the water in your area.
Does yours have trouble staying inflated? We had a different brand before and never had this problem. This one is going very low every 3-4 days?? Possibly a hole or something?

Hello. Can you leave this running all winter in the northeast. I live in New Jersey its getting down to the 20 s lately. I'm going to drain and store for the winter. So sad to see it get drained. thanks for the demo. My tip ua edit out all the non-essentials. Remove cap, Hook up hose, pull plug, wait. Total time. approx 60 seconds.

Click the reset, then hold the power button for 30 seconds. That should do it.

I have a Saluspa and I just use a mr clean eraser. We also have a wet vac you can get on Amazon for debris.

That piece that you screwed into that tube sticking out of The hot tub… That piece did not come in my kit. What is that?
I'm not sure what piece you are talking about. Was it the filter housing? It is under the power box if you are opening it new.

I did not time it but I would guess about as long as it took to fill up. 45 minutes to an hour.

If you use the bubbles, it is going to sound like a vaccume to them. If not, all they would hear is water moving when you get in or out.
