Instead of a shop vac you can also use the pump with the deflation adapter that comes with some models. Great video! Very informative and helpful! Thank you!
I have to say that your 3 videos were well put together and simpler than what was in the instructions. We had a full size hot tub in our former home and are looking forward to trying the "lite" version. Thank you!
All of the deck joists under the hot tub have cinder blocks underneath, spaced about every foot or so apart, I believe I added about 20 (or more) cinder blocks under it (they are sitting on a concrete pad under that part of the deck), it is overkill but I had the blocks anyway. You could park a truck on it and it won't budge!
bought one a few weeks ago, several air leaks and motor kept tripping the breaker. tried for 3 hours to deflate it and get it into the box. Lol . Thank gawd for a 30 year old son who is strong as an ox and alot of wine. I'm 70 and could not even lift this to set it up nor take it down. Sooo disappointed. Only got to use it once when it wasn't 70 degrees temp. Thanks for the deflation advice
Would you happen to know why our tempature won't go higher then 99? It was working fine then the wind blew the cover off we noticed a few hours later and the temp dropped from 104 to 90 and then stopped heating when it reached 99 even though it's set at 104? It's holding at 99?
Good video - thanks. I'm getting ready to pack mine up and my wife is very sad. I have the Palm Springs model. Did your spa come with a deflation t-joint (P61726ASS18)? I find these are great to deflate the tub with the pump. Also, my manual recommends using the pump on the bubble setting to blow water out of the bubble ring.
Wondering what the outdoor temp is when you set up and take down your hot tub. I just bought one but I live in Winnipeg and don't want to set it up too early but I am also pretty eager to start using it!
That's what I do, tip it from side to side, and tipping it over to allow the water to drain from the hoses etc and over the years didn't have any issues. And dry it well with a towel
Do you have constant problems with the water evaporating? I did this season. I live in Montana. I don't know if it has a leak from last years use or not?
Can I ask for any tips related to folding the actual tub to get it back in the larger box? I have tried a few ways but am stumped. I kept the original box but can’t seem to find a method to fold it up in size to fit in there. Thanks!
Question on what products to use to clean the liner with when it has yellowing on it . I have hard water here so theres a faint yellow ring above the water line and i cant get it out . Ive tried everything .
We just bought a palm springs and there are 2 parts that came with it that there are no instructions for. One fits on the air bubble attachment and the cap for it fits on the other end. It has a 90 degree hook in it. The other is a cylinder shape with no thread. Do we need these?
Ok so I watched all your videos on this hot tub.. question that you have not talked about.. on the pump side there is filter/ out line 3 inches from bottom an tablet/inline 8 inches from bottom.. what’s the one 8 inches from the top.. I noted you filled the water line up to the bottom of it.. does that one suck air..?
I believe your referring to the pressure relief valve, you don't need to do anything with this, just dry the exterior of it before packing it up. It is a safety feature if there is to much pressure built up and will release the pressure there.
I am struggling to get mine into the box! I wish we could have seen you get your hot tub back in the box, to see how it is done. Clearly there is a struggle....
Thanks for video! It’s annoying that these tubs don’t come with any useful instructions and only include the most basic of safety info, likely required by law. Extra tip: the weird looking black adapter with the 2 holes the size of the air pump port is actually to used to hook up the pump to DEFLATE the hot tub. ☝️🤓
@@RossyMM5 you can use them in winter in temps below freezing, problem you face is that heater pump will be on 24x7 to keep temps up, also problem is outside of the tub is air temp and freezing temps could compromise that air filled liner if 10 below etc
What I needed to know was how to disconnect the pump because it is sticking. Because you fats forwarded, I couldn’t see what I needed to do. Not helpful, sorry.
I love how you walk through each step.... I use your video every year when it's time for me to put my hot tub away. Thank you !!!
Thanks!
Love how thoroughly and patiently you take the viewer through these steps. Thank you! 👍😊👏🙏
Your very welcome, glad it helped

We just bought one last weekend and were eagerly awaiting this video! Perfect timing! Thanks
I'm glad it helped :)
Thinking about getting a hot tub in your videos have been super helpful😊
Glad it helped, love ours!
These hot tubs are fantastic... I've enjoyed mine for a couple years now.
Excellent video and to the point.
Thanks!
I'd be interested to see what modifications you made to your deck to handle the weight. I'm planning the same.

That's to bad, you would have loved it if you didn't have the issues
The inflating unit also deflates it for you using the provided t-valve and hose
Great tip
Great video! Thank you for sharing
How often do you change your filter? I know you clean it everyday but replace it?
Usually every 2 months, cleaning it every few days makes it last and stay cleaner longer

Check the filter first, if it is clogged, partially clogged it decreases the water flow and will limit the temperature. Let me know how you make out
Do you suggest using baby powder before storing?
I have never used it so far
Great video thanks .
Thanks!
Great advice!
Thanks
Why don’t you use the deflator attachment to deflate the tub? It works easier than the vacuum although that works ok too. Good video.
I just commented the same thing. Maybe the adapter didn’t come with that particular model.
You can deflate it with your filter pump. You don't have to use a vacuum.
Great tip, the filter pump inflate/deflate option was smart thinking by the manufacturer
But it takes way longer then a shop vac

I'm going to set mine back up in early May when the temps stay above 5 over night, then usually take it down in October
Is shaking the water out of the pump good enough to store it in the garage for winter?

Over the summer I probably added about 20 gallons due to evaporation, and we have no leaks also

I was putting mine away today and I had a lot of water in the main air compartment, how in the world do I find the leak? Do I trash it?

It is definitely a struggle, No easy way to get it pack the way it came for sure
What is the floating light? Is that your chlorine dispenser?
It's actually a light/bluetooth speaker that I bought off of amazon

I’ve got water in the inner part of the hot tub. Was hoping you had a solution for that. 😢
Like inside where the air goes?
I had the same issue. I used the pump to suck and blow it out.
why why why wouldnt you use the tub in winter? im very sad...
They are more of a 3 season hot tub, I am also sad :(
@@PovertyPointCustoms thoughts and prayers … and big hugs!
We were hoping to purchase one to use during the winter (located in MI) though I'm sure you wouldn't recommend it, could it be pulled off?
