About 5-10 feet up at that point I guess. No extra reinforcement for me. A small tub like this holds about 180 gallons = 1500lbs, I believe. Usually deck will support 50lb/sqft minimum unless you got your friend's uncle to build it with discounted lumber. The spa is like 32sqft. So if the deck is up to even the minimum code, you should be able to support it. Then, depending on if your deck has smaller gaps between support beams and what not, it could hold much more than that.
If you just filled your tub with fresh water you can go in immediately. You can even use the tub without any bromine for a few days. Make sure you check your levels to get your bromine amount dialed in with the floating sanitizer once you add it. You don't want too much or too little.
The top plastic piece is for insulation and to create a convex surface so rain doesn't pool on the cover. Without the inflatable, rain water pooling on the tarp will be a big issue. If you can't patch your leak, order another one: service.bestwaycorp.us/shop/?cat=items&parent_id=34&category_id=46. You could also order a round inflatable from amazon if you measure the right size. Get it fixed ASAP, winter is coming!
Hi Steve, very informative thank you. wondering what you would use for slime in pool? Seems like my spa got slimy after just 2 days. My test strips shows my colors are good.
Shouldn't get slimy if you are regularly shocking it and keeping the levels balanced. If you have a tub like mine, I'd drain it, give it a scrub/clean, and refill. Try shocking it after every use. If that doesn't work, I am really not sure, sorry!
Thank you for all the information I need it my husband will be getting me one for my birthday in June I can't wait
You won't regret it. Nothing beats getting out there in the cold weather. Best purchase I made in 2020!
@@steveharenberg1512 thank you so much
Which one did you buy?
@rtaylor3350 I got the intex pure spa plus I had to sell it because we moved into a apartment I miss it so much
I use small pool-hot tub chlorine tablets in my chemconnect but chlorine fades the blue tile pattern (print). Have you had any fading using bromine?
No fading with bromine. Try it out you will not go back to chlorine.
If it's an Intex PureSpa Deluxe, then it's a salt spa
Nice set up, Did you have to reinforce your deck to hold it? how high up is your deck from the ground?

How many bromine tabs do you put in? Just the one?
How long you have to wait after you put the bromine tablet

I did put 1 tablet but it seems like my bromine level is not going up yet
Also when I rub my jets the hot tub bubble a little bit.
@@AS-xc2xf are you putting shock in as well? You have to shock it, or you may see no bromine levels.

I drained my tub and trying to put back together Ibroke off the piece where the chem adapter screws onto. Help!!
You can just buy a chem dispenser that floats around in the hot tub. You don't need on that screws onto the wall. A ton of them on amazon.
What is the top plastic piece for? My spa is leaking air through it and I cannot keep it inflated. HELP

Add algecide
Should I leave spa filter on all the time?
yes
What happens if you don't add any of these chemicals and just hang out in it?
Water will only be good for a few days before it gets too dirty. You will need to drain, refill, and reheat.
Could you call out the products you used in the description?
Done!
