  • This is the final video in the Davao fine food tour with Chef Gene Gonzalez. What a blast it was. I had the opportunity to meet some of the best chefs in Davao and sample their inspired menus. I will go back to Davao and the rest of Mindanao as soon as I can. That's a promise! Meanwhile please enjoy this fabulous meal we had at the Tiny Kitchen.

I'd like to believe that I cook really well and I take pride that I never consult cookbooks or watch vids if I want to cook something that's new to me but I don't think I'd ever have the guts to cook for Chef Gene. He intimidates me and seems to be the kind of expert connoisseur who holds up his eye glass with his thumb and pointer finger while his pinky finger points to the heavens. His face, his stare with the quite condescending look as he gazes upon the food before him, begging of his praise but in return, he gives you the single eye raised eyebrow as if to say "I'll try to be nice for vlog's sake." LOL!
    Peace Master.. Haha.

Some of the comments here are so brutal and triggered. How Chef Gene is rude and many pronunciation Nazis 🤣 If anything the atmosphere here is relaxed and Chef Gene was comfortable in this video. Had they done this outside the private room, the atmosphere and the video itself would've looked hectic. And for the pronunciation lol get over it. Potatoe, Potato different people, different way of saying it. If we were in Spain fine correct the vlogger but this the Philippines and that's how we pronounce Paella. I've seen so many Spanish speaking vloggers comment and find it interesting on how we Filipinos pronounce Spanish words. To them it's no big deal at all. I wish we had more Spanish restaurants here in the Philippines even in Metro Manila there are only a few Spanish restaurants here. If there's one good thing about Spanish rule it's the food. Great video mate and thanks for the experience.
