Hubby is a cattle farmer. Thank you to everyone that supports their local farmers. We appreciate you!
And we appreciate you so much!!!
I’m going to save up! Thank you for this! I wouldn’t even have known where to start!
I think you’ll love it!

Hello! It’s true the quality of meat is so different! I love local sourcing you can see what the farmers are feeding their animals and hot it was treated . Thsnks for the videos ! Your amazing
you can really taste the difference!
Hey girl! 👋🏾 I never even thought of this, lol. Durring your video, I called my mama & asked her if she would be down to do this exact thing & now we are! 🎉❤ Thank you. God bless 🙌🏾 🙏🏾
This makes me so happy! I think yall will love this and taste the difference!
I figured out my family would eat a while cow in one year and it would literally save half the money if we could afford the upfront cost. Goals!!😂
Yes, the upfront cost is definitely the biggest hurdle. Can ask if your butcher does payments where you pay some in the beginning when you call then pay the rest at pick-up. This would save from one big surprise cost!
Thank you so much for this video and info !! 🙏🏼🫶🏼
Texas here, I just received half (125lbs) of a hog cost me $600.
We like to can most of the chunk and roast. We use the canned beef for vacations and quick meals during harvest. It is always nice to have homegrown food halfway across the country.
Get a generator in case the power goes out. One big enough to run the fridge and freezer.
Great video! I plan on doing this!
Is there a baby Gubba on the way? 🎉
Very interested in texture differences of freeze-dried products content. Specifically freeze-dried raw meat rehydrated and cooked vs frozen, thawed and then cooked the same way.
I need to invest in a deep freezer, but I just bought my house this past December and the electric needs some work.
Awesome work Gubba 👍
Thanks 👍
That is more meat than I have eaten in the last 10 years! Bulk is best! Thanks Gubba!😊❤
How much roast does a chuck roast chuck, if a chuck roast could chuck roast?
We get a half cow once a year and split with my parents. Comes out to $4.50 a pound across the board! I want to branch out to a half hog next to add variety of my bulk meats!
What a beautiful price! I think you'll love getting a hog. I enjoy the variety and NIGHT AND DAY difference for quality!
Where do you suggest I look for butchers around my area?
I’m in Los Angeles, Cali. I don’t Mind traveling 😊
I would look up direct to consumer farms in southern california. You can also connect with your local Weston A. Price foundation chapter and they will have resources specific to your area. www.westonaprice.org/find-nutrient-dense-foods/ then "contact one in your area" then go to California and see what is closest to you! Hope this helps.
