Probably will pick up a Ps5 next year for some exclusives, but now it's not worth it. It's like everybody saying Xbox has no games. Both systems are lacking games this year. Next year both systems will deliver big games. Sony always does, and Xbox with the investment they made in 25 studios only a full can't see they will deliver a ton of big games.
In his defense, Sega put themselves out of business. They burned all their trust with consumers and when they finally came out with a good product, nobody wanted to take the risk.

My gamepass is basically free dude, and I get games for myself and all my kids and wife. You’ve completely missed the point of the service. It’s access to try before buy, offers discounts, and can be made free depending on your habits. The savings to me is at an obscene level.
Game Pass really is a bargain. I've played games I might not have even tried because they were free. I've bought them on Steam after they moved off Game Pass just to support devs. Dreamcast Guy deliberately ignores this value and basically has to make up something to argue against.

A few weeks ago on Spawncast they started talking about how funny it is when people talk trash about the hosts and how it doesn't affect them. Then the comments section lambasted Dreamcast guy. He's only on the podcast about 20% of the time now. I almost feel sorry for him because you could see how dejected he was in that moment, but if he went back to producing garbage videos like this then I guess he deserved it.
The issue I have with the PS5 really doesn't seem to be addressed enough. That is the pathetic amount of storage space given with no way plug in a external SSD to play PS5 games. This is a really big issue for me

@Sourena Kazemi You're not getting it. MS doesn't care whether you buy a console or not...they want you to play game pass or buy their games on any system available. That's money in their pockets. Whether it's pc or mobile, they don't care as long as you are paying them.
At least MS is making it easy for people to play their games without a system. Many PS fans are stuck without PS5s to play games because they can't find one.

I truly don't understand how people truly believe there's a big audience of people who 'want" or "care about" Ratchet & Clank. When that sells 3 million total copies, he'll sit there and wonder "Why didn't many people play this, it was such a good game".
The whole “muh ‘sclusives” argument has been shot through so many times it’s looking like a gang-bang of bullets went through it. Exclusives does not equal more people wanting to playing the console, nor does it mean it has more games.
It's a way to push people to get a console or platform to play particular games. It's not in our favor.
PS5 barely has anymore exclusives eitherway. Lol. I remember when exclusives decided who your consumers were.

Spiderman for ps4 sold like 13 million copies vs 114+ million ps4 sold. only around 12% of ps4 owners bought Spiderman. the majority don't buy console for exclusives. most buy for multiplatforms, and since they already have the console they buy exclusives. most people buy console cause they don't want to spend more for PC so they choose a console. at retail price of ps5/xbox series x you can't build/get a PC with equal performance. you need a descent gpu, and that's easily $300-400. a $300 mid range gpu and a $200 mid range cpu already reached console retail price.
I don't get the point of exclusives tho. Why would I want to play a FedEx simulator or an interactive movie? And not that interactive. Last single player game I played was Fallout New Vegas.

I hate my PS5. The system software is garbage at this point in time, in terms of its ability to handle basic file management.
Ps5 has 3 games. Demons souls is fine, godfall is absolute trash and returnal is a days worth of gaming then trade in. So yea. Not many actual ps5 games

A few weeks ago on Spawncast they started talking about how funny it is when people talk trash about the hosts and how it doesn't affect them.
Then the comments section lambasted Dreamcast guy.
He's only on the podcast about 20% of the time now. I almost feel sorry for him because you could see how dejected he was in that moment, but if he went back to producing garbage videos like this then I guess he deserved it.
The issue I have with the PS5 really doesn't seem to be addressed enough. That is the pathetic amount of storage space given with no way plug in a external SSD to play PS5 games. This is a really big issue for me

@Ludwig van Beethoven to powerfull? Lol the hardware in next gen consols are very close to equal, besides PS5s SSD speeds do alot more than just loading games. Faster ssd speeds can make games bigger and more detailed, loading assets much faster. If any system has an advantage its the PlayStation 5
