@@RowneyPowers hey, actually just got rid of it about a year ago! I wrecked & it was way too much to fix. it was a nice reliable car! never had any serious problems.
I think everyone has forgotten about reliabiltiy. If you want a car that has all the options and will last only a year get a hyundai. But if you want a good car that will last you forever get a camry, simple as that.
My aunt has that exact same model. And she has had it since it was brand new. Very good running car. I-4 Cylinder does great. My Aunt just recently turned over 181000 miles on it. Yeah I know what your thinking. 5-6 year old car and it has 181K miles on it already. Yeah she travels a lot. But you know what for a 2009 she still runs great. And that's what matters to the owner.
my aunts toyota camry has 204236 miles now and it sounds like its still running very good. my aunt has been like everywhere with her toyota camry and she has loved it since the day she got it. I personally would love to have one some day. Or a Toyota Corolla would suit my needs, but toyota is know for having great quality in all of the vehicles that they make and sell everyday of the week. but thats toyota for you. LOL
Tunknatar only problem is my aunt has stopped caring for the oil in the camry so you could probably know for a fact that the engine sounds and runs like crap. I can literally hear the pistons tapping. Either that or it's something else. It got an oil change @ 203454 miles. Now it has 216558 miles. So it is well over due. I would have thought by now that my aunt would take better care of the car but I guess she thinks that since it has the Toyota logo on it, it will last forever. But we both know that just because it's a Toyota doesn't mean it will last you if it's got little to no oil. :( It was due @ 208000 miles for an oil change. We do it every 5000 miles. Then it was due @ 213000 miles but of course we missed that one. But if we get to 218000 miles without it's 2nd overdue oil change I'll be damned if that engine will still be running. It runs great for it's age. But the only issue is the fact that there is lack of keeping up with the maintenance. So it's missed 2 almost 3 oil changes. :( It's no wonder that the engine itself has low idling and runs like crap. It will sound better if somebody would change the oil. :( Hasn't been changed for approximately 13104 miles. What would you're response be?
No. No Tranny or Engine problems. She still running strong. And she just turned over 220K miles a few days ago. Yesterday (09/13/2015) I think. Actually yes. It did. Still runs strong. 220093 miles last time I checked. TH Channel
it doesn't necessarily damage the transmission per se, there is a metal pin type thing that drops in between two teeth of a gear that is attached to the output shaft of the transmission. the pin will only break if it is abused (ie if the driver gets in the habit of slamming it into park while still moving, or parking on an extreme incline with no parking brake) or if there is a defect in the mechanism
oh ssweet did u use that maguairs interior mist and wipe cleaner like u reocmended for me? and i think i already asked u this btu what do u use for a carpet/upholstry cleaner again? lol
my uncles toyota camry has over 250,000 miles I've never seen a car with that many mileage in my life. I was surprised. THIS CAR IS GONNA LAST FOREVER!!! Some people may say that the camry is ugly but its the engine and the stuff inside thats high quality. : )
I'm 12 years late on ur comment lol but I had a camry that went well over 300,000 miles and was still reliable. It was sadly finally breaking down at that point so I sold it. Great brand overall
Is the Camry quiet inside? I have various opinions about it, someone says there is no disturbing noise (tyres, wind etc) in the cabin and the other says it is terribly noisy...
Not a Toyota fan, but these Camry's are good buy specially the used models. You can buy a slightly used Camry (about 30k-40k kilometers) for same price as a new compacts.
I just watched this for the 20th time! I couldn't help it I really like this car... LOL 2010 Toyota Camry OMGGGGGGGG I'm getting itttt!! Can you see the inside speedometer and the gauges during the day when its reallly bright? It looks like you can't reallly see it.
I have a 96 Camry LE with 99500 miles, and my mom has a 09 Camry LE with 29700 miles. In the coming years I plan to trade my 96 for a used 07-10 Camry SE V6. I love Camrys, they are the only car I will ever drive.
I don't know the 2013 Kia Optima looks pretty hot, I mean the 2012 Camry does too (my mom has one) but I like the fact that the Optima has an option for HID xenon, overall though, you are right Camrys hold their value well. My 2003 Camry LE is worth about $10,000 even though it's 9 years old.
You are actually right about the stock stereo Kyle, Camrys from 2002 - 2012 have 4 6x9s (2 on the 2 front doors, and 2 in the rear deck) and 2 tweeters in the front dash for a total of 6 speakers. What you are hearing is the non-JBL system and it is almost as good as the JBL. I know you drive the more expensive sibling (the ES350) how would you compare the two sound systems, and how would you compare how they drive?
@mekintosz7 They are officialy distributed in europe. I've got a european 2008 camry, even more equiped then xle (moonroof, parktronic, rear sun shade, backup camera, etc)
the 2007-present Toyota Camry is assembled in Australia: Altona, Victoria Japan: Toyota, Aichi Russia: Saint Petersburg United States: Georgetown, Kentucky Lafayette, Indiana
have you seen the 2010 model?!?!? It's awesome the tail lights are LED now so you see Red dots on the back and front headlights looks a little different but still nice! Inside has gotten better I'd get this car for recession years. I don' tknow what to get though... Nissan Altima or Toyota Camry... help anyone? Nissan and Toyota are both Japanese so its hard to choose.. Both reliable... Nissan more sporty but Camry more comfort feel... Hmmm CVT or regular transmission...
I'd rather own a camry because they hold there resale value al ot better then kia, to me pesonaly i think they look better then kia, they also are generally better reliable car, and more of your dollar comes back to the states when you buy from toytoa. I do give hyundai and kia credit though they do asemble alot more cars here now days. better then most of the american cars.
Three things I dislike about this Camry/Toyota. The headrests in this car push your head forward all the time, very uncomfortable. Second, Toyota ( & Honda) have switched to American sounding horns. I like the pre-2007Camry horns. The third thing is the damn seat belt warning beep if you don't wear yours. I know you should at all times, but I don't need a loud constant beep when I don't have it on. But I did like this video :-)
do the stanky leg
