"Love is not easily angered (1 Corinthians 13:1-...)". Sometimes we get caught up in our offenses...but may the Holy Spirit help us to learn to communicate and overlook an offense (Proverbs 19:11) in love and through Grace and to humbly apologize even if one may not be wrong. Grace in love is the foundation 🙌
I think also “Not being able to say sorry” comes from brokenness, thus saying sorry in that instance feels like losing something rather than being empowered.
Phethola you married well la "Lerato". The man is wise. In fact you guys are so wise, I just love your humility and your sacrificial love for one another. Qhubekani, ngithi qhubekani. The Great I AM loves you
"Your partner is on your side" mind blown! God is working wonders through the two of you. Guys please consider being mentors/mediators!? You might not see yourselves as such but I know i'm not the only one yerning for that from the two of you. Much love❤❤❤
Oh! I loved this! I don't know how many times I've listened to Lerato unpacking on what the real FEAR is! Because quite frankly I can't control my spouse's behavior...but what I've control of is ME! Very enlightening even to me as a woman...profound! THANK YOU
AH bra ya ka, yoooh🤦. O pressitse dibuttons tse di serious, yesses. Mo o bolela le nna straight. Sorry e boima my bra, ho nore sorry banna. Thankyou for changing my life by sharing this wisdom.I am commiting to practice apologizing verbally and learning to walk away. My life will never be the same👊👊. Definitely gonna share this with my friends and fam. #SERVANT LEADERSHIP #Character is KING #Young FAN.
"I hear you" - hubby and I have also adopted this phrase when we "hear" but don't necessarily understand the other's view point - it helps us "chew over" an issue, search our hearts and when we address it later - the situation is usually diffused and we can then hear AND understand each other... Really goes a long way in adding good building blocks in this thing called marriage...
What Lerato is saying is very deep and true wisdom. It is not a man thing but a human thing and I believe we ladies are capable of also doing with the help of the Holy Spirit
This installment just made me think of a verse in the Bible that says man shall not live on bread alone. The wisdom here. God bless you. "Get over the offense to get perspective" says Lerato
Ntate Makhetha....you hear the respect in my tone!!!it's because of what you said about letting fear take over us.i have, for a long time come to accept that love will never work for me because I have been done wrong. And I won't walk that path again
Aa 👏.. I stumbled upon your channel this past week, and I must say Uri I'm hooked.. I'm loving all your conversations, very profound. I'm here to stay shem
Iv had my comment section open for a while....but I'm so taken by so much that is said....that I dont know which part to comment on... @Mr Lerato.....you have unpacked and taught me so much on how to deal with self #choosepeace❤
Hi Makhs. As I’m watching the last part and the last point that Lerato was making I started getting the feeling that sure these conversations that you are having with us must be very therapeutic for you both. Surely your relationship&/ marriage is getting stronger has entered a new dimension of greatness. I love this for you guys. God works in mysterious ways. You have these conversations with us (your audience in my mind) so give us content but I Imagine and I’m actually convinced that God is healing old wounds, strengthening your current position in your marriage ,blessing your family and moving in your marriage in a way that you never imagined. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us, Thank you for allowing God to minister to us through you. My prayer is for the enemy to fail dismally in all his attempts to attack marriages in this country because this what you are doing is God covering and protecting yours and other marriages in the world.
I really agree with tip2. For both platonic relationships & otherwise. Don't rush solutions. Allow yourself to be in better space, to step out of defence mode, to think about what your partner is saying
Yhooo🤭🤭 guys I wish I could listen to you the whole day and I'm really glad to be part of this family especially now that I just got married. I'm learning a lot, this came at the right time ❤️❤️❤️.
I love watching you two learn from each other. The idea of not going to bed angry fits here though. It doesn’t mean not to go to bed without resolution… it just means do not be angry. In other words, choose to still be loving and respectful of your partner before you go to bed, but also realizing that a conclusion doesn’t have to be reached tonight.
This was so deep yhuu. When Mr Makhs said "Learn to say I'm sorry sincerely especially when you're right."😭❤thank you so much for this we truly learnt alot🤗
Oh well Mr Makhs all I can say today is definitely a better man than most. I take my hat off to you. Phetola you are a lucky lady. Loved this installment
🙈 love this, am told I love to argue. Isn't argument when two are Exchanging words. An I so don't want to go to bed nothing being sorted or not being said.. Tomorrow it's a new day new marcy. New day how do ask about yesterday
But you know what would be nice sis Pheto le abuti Lerato, if you could list the points in the description because sometimes I'll want to unpack the things you said later or just remind myself what you said and then I need short notes. So it would be really lovely if you write those points you read from your phones in the description if that's possible
Now this is a good topic! One thing I've mastered in my relationship with my boyfriend is learning to apologize! Whether being wrong or right! After watching this I know now to walk away, even if I don't agree with something or just sleep on it. I like to talk about my problem right then and there, but you guys helped me to find a better way to communicate. My boyfriend and I are 3 months in and we feel like we've been together forever. We've learned what we like and don't like. We've learned so much through you guys and our own experiences. Thank you so much for the Love Trivia questions by the way! Him and I aren't perfect, but through prayer him and I are willing to keep going and stay strong!
This episode was mind blowing and transforming guys. Its the "fear" neh..!! You are so right, letting it go helps us not get "stuck in offense". Thank you for taking time to share. Modimo a le hlohonolofatse
These 2 installments are very powerful Thank you guys, and I love the real life examples you make, we all go through the same (1 year married )! Thanks again!❤️❤️
Sooo relatable!! Very insightful, thank you for being so vulnerable and helping so many couples out there. May God continue to bless you so that you may continue to be a blessing to others.
“Feelings are neither wrong nor right” -this really resonated with me so much even in friendship and family. I really need my feelings acknowledged, whether warranted or not, because they’re real. ❤️ Thank you so much! This is truly appreciated🙏 -Will be watching with my partner and sharing with friends because everyone needs these hacks 👏🏼🔥
Wow 👌 👏 Mr M you are preaching right at me the whole part of not choosing peace, joy and forgiveness because they might hurt me again 😢 💔..I struggle with they I choose walking away instead but what am I going to do when I'm married. I need to ask God to help me. 🙏 thank you fam
This was wholesome as always loved it🔥👍🏾 we need a here is a thought and our love journey podcast 😌 this combination 🔥 I pray it happens some day #Dreamteam
So when you go away and think about it do you guys then act normal after the conversation or that tension energies are still around and you guys give each other space
It really depends on the heaviness of the situations. Sometimes we are able to carry on while we digest the issue. Other times we give each other space (but not for too long). We try not to drag issues.
Our relationship is in grade 8🤣🤣🤣 I love it hear❤ this episode makes me think that life is not always black and white and we will forever learn each other as human beings hence we need the Holy Spirit always

The portion of this conversation about the character of a person struck me. I appreciate these discussions...from Philadelphia, USA...shout me out!!!
I think also “Not being able to say sorry” comes from brokenness, thus saying sorry in that instance feels like losing something rather than being empowered.

"Being able to love even when THEY making it hard to love them." A real test.
