Young lady, I've only been watching some of your videos for the last few days and decided to subscribe. I myself am a 70 year old male. I currently own and ride a Harley Davidson 2010 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. But, I declare I find myself really liking the looks of the Can-Am Ryker...a lot. Myself and my brother-in-law rode our bikes this past summer(he has a 2018 Harley Davidson Deluxe) from Ferrum, Va where I live to Colorado Springs, Colorado to visit one of his daughters and her family. It was a GREAT ride. But with all that said, I do like the idea of a ride where I don't have to worry about dropping the bike or riding on a few gravels etc. Also, I had a total left knee replacement a little over 10 years ago and yeah it plays on your mind a little. So, that's my story. Now the reason I like your videos is your ease in explaining your work your're doing on your bike. I also like that every other word isn't a cuss word. Now, understand, I ain't a prude or anything but gosh when their are other people in the room or one of my grandchildren, I don't want to have to worry about what's being said. So well done young lady. One question now, "Would you consider riding a bike like this, with the motor that runs at high way speeds in the upper RPM's, would you ride this say on long trips if you limited your miles to say 300-350 miles per day. And say stopping everyone 1-1/2 to 2 hours for a break? Thank you very much and ride safe.
Hello! First of all, thank you for watching and for subscribing! It is very appreciated. Yes, my videos will always be kid friendly. I don't cuss or talk about inappropriate things. Secondly, thank you for sharing your story with me. Ok let's get down to it....Your Harley is an amazing bike! It will be a big transition for you to go to a Ryker. Some of the changes will be perfect for you: no shifting (so easy on your left knee), never worry about tipping the bike or having to steady it. I never worry about lose gravel or little potholes in the road. Some changes will be more challenging to get used to: no shifting, no hand brake, less power?, less movability (3 wheels instead of 2) etc. That being said, I obviously, LOVE my Ryker and I love riding it, because I can focus just on the ride and not all the other little things I mentioned above. As for long distance riding, the Ryker is not made for that (no cruise control, no radio etc). BUT I do it all the time. I put a backrest on for more comfort. I ride a lot with Can Am Spyders too, and those beasts are made for long rides. They are touring bikes, with seat heaters etc!!! My very strong advice for you, is for you to take the can am riding course. Because you already have your endorsement, tell them you don't want to sit through the classwork, that you only want to do the riding portion, It is usually 2 afternoons of riding in a closed course, but it will really give you a better feel for the Ryker an how it rides. Best $99 you will ever spend!! Good luck, and keep me posted!

Congratulations Beth 1k Subscribers! 👍 I've always installed radiator protectors ... Much cheaper than a new radiator! I installed one on my SV650 but I don't need one on my F3 ... The radiators are on the side Not the Front! Less likely to get hit by rocks ... The 1300 has 2! 👍😁🤘 Beanie
How crazy. I actually just ordered from this guy today. I got his whole combo kit. Comes with the grill comes with the air intake Grill and a few other things. He seems really nice
I think this is one of the best accessories that c everybody should get. The trucks and things on the highways let alone rocks. My wife told me I can't buy accessories but she does think that radiator is vulnerable. Bill has a great design that is very well thought out I hope I win because this would be great help.
EDITED for content on 8/01/23: The price point seems a bit steep, but the quality seems to be top notch It would be nice if this could be mounted to the radiator itself with hardware. Perhaps these can be powder coated as it would improve durability over paint. Great idea and looks great but could be a bit cheaper IMO. Thank you for sharing this.

I tend to speak my mind and have a strong belief that any TH-camr who is showing a product or installation of product owes the audience a proper and safe way to do it. I can come across critical and this is not my intent. I am also skeptical of a lot of what I see when a product is given for free in exchange for a review. Thats not saying that the review is inaccurate, but the potential is there with many reviewers (not necessarily you though). Working in an industry that has both high margins and is hyper safety oriented, I am quick to spot some basic things such as material cost, design and best practices for safety reasons. Many people who watch any review video have no clue on alternatives and take what they see at face value. I try to offer a counter point in my comments. Please know I am "ripping through your videos" because I see value in them. I will be more diligent in how I say what's on my mind. Have a great day and keep doing what you do! Great job as usual! I have one in rose gold. They are awesome to have. When I got the bike that was one of the first things I got. I was super afraid something would fly in there because I do A LOT of riding.
I bought one of those from Bill too, when I went to install it, i realized the Rally already have the mesh gaurd in place 😂 so now his is just laying around my house. His is a lot beefier than the stock one so I might replace it this summer.

Beth, anything that will help protect the radiator is worth the trouble and the cost of the use of it to save the from damaging the expensive radiator, they are high dollar to replace ! love your show.

Anyway, went to a dealership here in kansas city, and was able to sit on one for 30min. Oh yes, I know what I am buying. Sadly, without a motorcycle license I could not test drive. :(
@@RykerRydes the one from BRP is cheap thin metal.. I've had customers that have already had that one and had a rock blow through it and put a hole in the radiator at 60 miles an hour down the freeway.. what I use is thick heavy duty metal.
You could make your own for a lot less than 75 bucks, go Home Depot etc. get a piece 12x24, make a pattern out of cardboard trace your pattern and cut it to fit, the. Use those expensive plastic ties!
Hi Beth 👋🏾 I subscribed to your channel when I was thinking of selling my Triumph Speed Triple for a Can Am Ryker. I have been riding motorcycles for quite a while, everything from a Katana 600 to a ZX10 to a Hayabusa. Now that I am older I have slowing down. I have been eyeing the 3 wheel motorcycles for awhile now and think it will spark my interest in riding again. I did wind up picking up a 2020 Ryker Rally but as others have said the grill does not cover the sides. I need total protection transversing the streets of the ATL and all its numerous potholes and debris that can ruin a radiator or rims. So yes I would like to throw my name in to win the grill to have complete protection for my grill on Obi Wan 😁 Thanks for posting this giveaway 👍🏾

Yes, I heard Bill’s is a much better quality. It also covers the two side holes, which I don’t think the stock one does. Double check.

@@RykerRydes the one from BRP is cheap thin metal.. I've had customers that have already had that one and had a rock blow through it and put a hole in the radiator at 60 miles an hour down the freeway.. what I use is thick heavy duty metal.

You could make your own for a lot less than 75 bucks, go Home Depot etc. get a piece 12x24, make a pattern out of cardboard trace your pattern and cut it to fit, the. Use those expensive plastic ties!
Absolutely if you’re handy, you can definitely go make your own. But for 75 bucks I think this was a great deal!

Hi Beth 👋🏾 I subscribed to your channel when I was thinking of selling my Triumph Speed Triple for a Can Am Ryker. I have been riding motorcycles for quite a while, everything from a Katana 600 to a ZX10 to a Hayabusa. Now that I am older I have slowing down. I have been eyeing the 3 wheel motorcycles for awhile now and think it will spark my interest in riding again. I did wind up picking up a 2020 Ryker Rally but as others have said the grill does not cover the sides. I need total protection transversing the streets of the ATL and all its numerous potholes and debris that can ruin a radiator or rims. So yes I would like to throw my name in to win the grill to have complete protection for my grill on Obi Wan 😁 Thanks for posting this giveaway 👍🏾

What are the blue shox you're using on the bike? Only seen red Fox and Elka shocks, never the blue.
