- This is episode 5 of the " 2021 Winter on the Mountain Fork" Series. Nick pulls his camper down to the Lower Mountain Fork River to meet up with Jake and do some fly fishing for the weekend. The fish were hungry and the scenery was amazing!

@@OutdoorHighlife I’m new to fly fishing and hopefully when we go in a 2 weeks I can get my first trout on a fly rod. I’ve always just fished for trout with spinning tackle.
@@coltonfisk2113 Fishing has been awesome since they released all that water a couple of weeks ago. Be careful, Once you hook one with that fly rod, you might get addicted lol! Good luck and let me know how it goes.

@@OutdoorHighlife I still haven’t been to LMF, I’ve been fishing blue for 8+ years, such an easy drive to Blue, hard to beat! I caught some nice trout early January. I just posted the video recently on my YT channel, check it out if you haven’t seen it.

Really cool series! Thanks for sharing. How do you fish the RS2's: as a dropper or solo weighted? I love this place and wish I could make it down from Norman more often.

Headed there late next month, you put in up stream and floated back to camp or did you go somewhere else?

@@kingjory28 We put in just above hickory campground just about 100yds down from bridge and floated back to camp. It's not a far float. Maybe a mile if that.
