Hi, Two things. (1) Magiclantern is not made just for VIDEO work there are many features also there for still photography (what an DSLR is made for) (2) Unstalling M/L with the latest updated build is no problem as it now also resets the camera back to factory default.
yes I haven't dug too much into the photo side, but it enables time lapses without the remote now. Yes its easy to uninstall as the update is contained on the memory card. Without the mem card it loads the factory firmware
Great video. Would you like to tell me how to set up my camera for unlimited recording. Canon 70 d turn off after 29 minutes

Hi Marc if magic lantern I believe you can set your camera to restart recording. There will be a 1 second that is missed with the recording limit (obo 30 min)
