While the USB interface is the best way to send audio to a computer, the 1/4” headphone/audio output jack also outputs stereo. You have to use a TRS plug on a Y adapter that splits the stereo into two cables, not the mono TS plug shown in this video.
Indeed Glenn! Not everyone can use USB in every situation. The technology may not be available to everyone so a Y cable is a nice to have when performing live with a stereo setup.
@@phillc Doing good, buddy. Always longing for new stuff on the DGX-670 from you 👌. You've been a very good source of info about this keyboard for me...keep it up and thank you.
I have this piano and I noticed that the sound from the phone output is good for playing live only. If you need to record, it's better to use the USB output or directly on the pen drive. If you are going to use the stereo output (phones), use a good quality cable (shielded) with gold connectors and a stereo DI box or a Yamaha sound mixer. I do it like this and it turns out excellent.
Hey friend! USB out of keyboard and into my computer for use in the DAW like Mixcraft or Garage Band or Protools or OBS. Let me know if you are able to figure it out with this one: th-cam.com/video/NQq96g-uTWU/w-d-xo.html
One comment mentions " @coco-mv6tr 5 months ago Hello...USB to what......show me ....." I have the same question. I do not want to go directly to a computer. I would like it to go into my external audio interface. What USB B to ? (TRS?) can one get? Thank you
@@PlateletRichGel I expect that if you connect a Bluetooth adapter to the output it should work. But the system will not transmit output with its Bluetooth function. It will only play music through the speakers.

I've got an SMSL DO100 dac that I'm using. Once I get this bad boy I'm going through your videos again. Very well detailed!

Cant you use Bluetooth and connect to a Bluetooth adapter like the Denon with two balanced out outputs to powered monitors?

that 1/4" plug you show isn't stereo...
Yes, it's not which is the point. Even if it were a stereo cable, the sound would still not be as clean as USB Audio directly to PC.
@@phillc usb is digital...it will never be as clean as true analog

@DiegoDourado Thank you for sharing! Great stuff! The USB pen drive! Ah!!! Another great option.
