Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. All music in the video is improvised at the time of pressing record so therefore, it is “made up” on the spot! 🎹
Congratulations !!!! Someone actually gives a demonstration on the net which actually lets us HEAR THE PIANO and decide for ourselves whether we like it or not . It amazes me to think so many people think we only want to hear them talk !!
One of the best demo videos I've ever seen. Audio, excellent. Cinematography, excellent. Editing, good. Performance, excellent. Selection of tunes, excellent. I'm sold.
true I played a $3k keyboard a minute later and liked the Yam more! Maybe it is not as good- but to this newbie, it felt and sounded better and had options for days. Nothing is better for the price.
This piano has to be the perfect balance of everything. I have looked at digital pianos for over a year and it does not get better than this conclusion. Also the "Pop Grand" demo is exactly the kind of genre I plan on working with so thank you for sealing the deal.
Yamaha - some of the vest sounds I have ever played. I had to move to a Roland lately for certain needs. But it makes me so emotional to come back and listen to the sounds that I've spent so many years with.
They just make shit DP. sound is pretty good, but I am waiting for the day GRANDUER gets built into The Kontrol S88 at an affordable price. Which will probably never happen but if it does It will kill the competition.
Absolutely Stellar playing and there isn’t another arranger keyboard in this price range that even comes close. And for sure without costing at least $1000 dollars more. And I just ordered one of these.
Great demo!! Thank you! I finally understand the smart chord and accompanying voices. Now I want one! I was debating between this and a p125....this wins
Ok this thing is dope! I've been saving for Casio PX-S3000, but now I've decided I'll wait for this instead. Much more versatile as an arranger and has better "other" sounds to my ears.
I just bought one a few weeks ago for learning to play the piano. It sounds like a piano, so far I only use the default sound it comes with and I think it sounds nice. The salesman pitch was that Yamaha has been making acoustic pianos for a long time and they apply features and sounds from their own acoustic pianos to this piano. I played around with in the past with Baby Grands and the keys feel like a real piano. I like it and as I get better I have lots of features to play with. I like that I can record what I play and then listen to it. That way I can hear where I messed up and where I did well. At a simple push of a button... playing piano we push a lot of buttons, or keys.
I just tried one at GC and now I want one. I don't even really play. I was there digging on guitar stuffs. I can tell you, it's the real deal. The audio quality and features are amazing. After sitting for 30 minutes with this, I tried a $3,000 keyboard and liked the DGX better. It was that good. Maybe it is missing some high-end features- I dunno. Like I said, I am not an expert but I think for the needs of most people- maybe non-pro musicians that might need certain workflows or midi options (it has midi), this thing has what most would ever need and then some. At the price, it's a steal- if it lasts. Not sure of the long term reliability. Some of questioned it. To get the price this low they must have cut some corners inside- and it does lack robust I/O on the back panel.
Great playing and now this new DGX look like a little brother of cvp series. Sounds really professional and rich. I hope yamaha improved the key action. Thank you 😊
Same action as P125 ....witch I have ,not bad at all,but not the best .It will do the jobb ,if you don't have anything Else to compare it with.... GHS is soft and good for quick playing, but also for slow playing.Medium quality keybed, but verry responsive
I own some very nice keys already, montage 7 and fantom x8. This is very nice, sort of piano that would suit me in the dining room for when I don't feel like walking down to my studio :). Nice demo.
I use the auto style, but when l press the chords its not mute, thr sound is still on which sounds awkward. Usually, on the other keyboards when the ACMP is on, the left hand chord will be muted and only use for changing the chords. How do l turn the keyboard sound off when l use the auto style. Thank you!
670 has MegaVoices and Super Articulation voices, and new, better drums, too. So it's basically a Tyros 3. 650/660 are basically just Tyros 1/PSR-3000 keyboards that traded off whatever MegaVoices they had left (and some other panel voices) for a full 88 keys.
Does anybody know a good alternative to the Yamaha DGX series? Because from what I can tell the DGX series has over 600 different instruments and other portable digital pianos don't offer anywhere near the level of voices? The only thing I can imagine comes close is the Casio PX560 which is no discontinued. I'm looking for something like the Yamaha DGX 660/670 but perhaps with better speakers and a better keyboard in terms of the touch. Can somebody help?
This is basically a re-packaged Tyros 3, which is a good thing. I have a T3 and it's still one of the best arranger keyboards around even now, in 2021. I must admit, it looks cooler than the Tyros though! 😄🎹 Excellent demo Breve Music, I really enjoyed your playing. 👍

The DGX670 actually has an audio interface built into the USB port. The piano is then selectable as an Audio I/O Device in your DAW (Logic Pro in our case), just hit record and enjoy!
@@OnlineMD It does both. As long as you have the audio driver for the keyboard (on yamaha's site), then you can send as audio. It's a great feature because otherwise the only way would be to use the 1/4" single output jack with a splitter to an audio interface.
