Honestly, I'm one of those people who actually prefer head removal via unscrewing or slider, as ball joints just worry me (especially if the plastic isn't absolutely perfect, as several of my copies of Kingdom Rattrap have attested).
Truly astounding. This further confirms that Takara and Hasbro are missing out on hiring or contracting out some very clever engineers. Third parties are killing it.
That transformation broke my brain a little the moment I realised the feet were hiding the front of the car. Clever stuff. I'm used to the odd fake out part but they way this guy pulled it off was crazy.
Interesting note about this figure, but a later release that I got ditches the foam for a plastic shell and also replaces the blue eyed head with yellow.
There's a KO version of this toy. CE 01 Bumblebee I believe. The differences are in size and materials. The other has die cast parts, especially the joints
it's not. it looks impressive but it's stupidly fragile. mine came broken in the box, despite the foam packaging, and then as soon as my replacement parts came in just trying to get him back out of the box one of his arms snapped clean off. I've never had something like that happen with any of my other toys. awful, truly awful QC.
In alt mode this figure looks like its alive, a scaled down Beetle. While the official Masterpiece figure looks a cheap plastic toy. If i cared for absolutely HAVE to have a transforming movie Bumblebee, i would proably buy this version. But ive already got 3As version together with Blitzwing, so i have to settle with marvel at its beauty through your review.
I have a copy from the 3rd release and honestly, it feels pretty solid. The plastic does not feel fragile at all. The shoulder joints were extremely tight though, so tight to the point that I thought they didn't actually move until I tried to convert it into alt mode. Purchased some solicone oil used for RC car kits, and it worked like magic. I've transformed mine quite a bit with no issues. Probably just have to be real careful.
@@geomango20 it’s not the plastic itself to worry about, it’s the joints and pins. The figures pins are too large for the holes they go into and it was never fixed. So it really is a matter of when rather than if.
@@octobotimus I believe the plastic quality counts too, since many of the joints are made of plastic. I've seen breakage photos, and most of them are on the shoulder "butterfly joints", the neck area, and the hip joints. All those parts are made of plastic and anchored with metal pins. If lubed correctly, the figure is great. But I do agree with you that those parts should have been assessed thoroughly in the first place before distribution.

not really..Hasbro and Takara just want easy money tbh

The blades tab on top of the hands, not below, what the hell?
Another superbly made review, you deserve more recognition than you already do.
Magnifique la transformation 😱

Realized I said yellow instead of red

this is not an unboxing video, this is a full and well made review with amazing video quality. and the TC-02 just as good as this review.

its true that some times in the transformation feels like its going to break?
Quelle est la différence entre cette version TC-02 et la version CE-01?🤔
I look forward for UniqueToys to get to work on their version of Bumblebee Movie Volkswagen Beetle Bumblebee.
Omg that looks amazing I hope they make a soundwave if they do I'll definitely be getting these over the dlx version
I'm impressed, I didn't think this guy transformed. I might have to pick him up. Great video, on the hole, Sixo! Ha ha

How long do you guys give it till his copy snaps something?
I swear I was going to respond.
Im the only one that see the arms and shoulders too skinny?? Apart of that, it looks amazing
lol the blades go on top of the hands, not on the wrist
OSKO on the way.
Such a shame they fumbled the QC so badly.

@@geomango20 mine broke right out of the box. Not sure what to do with it. Sucks as the figure looks great, but I never got to even transform him.
