I think it'd be super cool if you actually did a genre//subgenre teir list. Sounds like something that would preform well too.

2 things i like about this channel
    - we get shot right into the video, no messing around.
    - we get examples of what he's talking about unlike some others that just explain and talk about tunes without us actually hearing samples.
    First channel channel 🥇

I'm surprised that you didn't include Reign in Blood, and much less surprised you didn't include Among the Living. Picking Metallica and Megadeth over Slayer and Anthrax is the correct choice though. 🤘🏻

Holy Moses, Death, FNM, Europe, Ratt?! Man you really gave an awesome list that pretty much covered all bases! Loved your narration as usual.
Surprised you didn't talk much on Alice in Hell's lyrical themes, as their pretty interesting in and of themselves.

I said it and I’ll say it again
Funk metal is the most underrated metal genre, the contrast between funk and metal lyrics and sound, makes it just so polarizing, that you gotta love it for that. Lots of songs are silly, but just so fun.
And then there’s the minority of serious funk metal songs, like Primus - Too Many Puppies, or Infection Grooves - Cousin Randy. I wish this sound was more explored. They have this “descend into madness” feel to them.
And I agree, pop and glam metal are different genres. Pop metal is very broad, from Slipknot, Poppy, to Europe. It’s fusion, like industrial and funk metal. And I love fusion genres. Wchich usually makes it more accesible.
Glam metal is very specific. It’s derived from already estabilished style - glam rock. Just everything about it made more extreme. And yes, often it’s combined. I’d say, that if anything else, all glam metal has some pop metal in it, but not nearly all pop metal is glam metal.
Crimson Glory, fuck yeah! Red Shark is too my favorite track.

My all time favorite album of the 80's is mostly unknown to all... It's Called : Nothing to fear by the band Wrath. I but this tape in a 'used' tape store in the middle of nowhere and it took me like 20 years before I could find the CD... The voice is an acquired taste, but I can't see any other voice doing the job on this magnificent album!

Not even an honorable mention for anything Manilla Road?! Now I'm sad. Crystal Logic is absolutely phenomenal and I'm curious your thoughts on the album. Although, I will say, I am extremely happy you put Witchfinder General on there. Stellar album and pretty much my go-to album for classic Doom outside of early Sabbath.

I think that metal being primarily founded in libertarian values there should be a general stance of anti-communism and anti-fascism as well as anti-corporational power, I think that metal tends to stand for individual liberty and strength, and all of these kinds of things go against that.

I liked the list, it was quite diverse, but I would exchange Death Penalty for Psalm 9, because it is much better technically, very heavy, melancholic and with incredible harmonies, the lyrics had a certain charm and originality due to the Christian theme. Touble could better represent this Sabbath worship of 80s Doom Metal bands.
