    Just fyi to to the XJ'ers, 62mm TB's come literally stock for a grand cherokee, YJ and JK and cheap as dirt off of Ebay. It was in the later half of the 4.0 that it finally got upgraded.

  • @jeeprenegade1985

    It's about 4 or 5 horsepower. I bored mine out on a Bridgeport mill and made a new throttle plate on a lathe.

    • @jeeprenegade1985
      @jeeprenegade1985 ปีที่แล้ว

      The throttle plate is actually oval a bit. The plate sits in there on an angle, so I mounted it a mandrel at 5° when I machined it.

    What's the point I got a stock Throttle body with a Spacer and cold air intake . Aint that the same results in the end gonna still take same air to fule ratio unless you program the Pcm otherwise 🤔

    • @OutJeeping
      @OutJeeping  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It will be the same air/fuel ratio but with a bored out throttle body, it will increases your throttle response because more air can pass through faster with a larger hole. As for a throttle spacer they don't really do anything to increase performance unfortunately.

    • @OutJeeping
      @OutJeeping  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1
