Hi BrittanyC! ❤️ Haha! I hadn't realized that Matt had never seen Sleepless in Seattle! I need to correct that immediately because it's a good movie! 😂 Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Hi Dipa! ❤️ Thanks! That room was awesome! It was such a cool sail away and so crazy how long it was! I loved how we could see the Space Needle for so long during the sailaway! Loved it! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
I got my WOW band on Harmony in ‘23 and it’s awesome. They came in yellow, white, ROYAL blue 😉 and black. I live in Baker County, just outside of Jax. Duuuuuuvallllll Go Jags!
I can't believe you finally did Alaska. What a beautiful crazy long sail away. Hi mom & dad Hoffman😊 we had that room on Anthem it was a corner room as well. We liked it alot. I wanted to try the wow bands but i heard you have to take it off to order drinks and you couldn't re-use them so hopefully those issues have been fixed.
Hi Dawn! ❤️❤️❤️ If the WOW band worked like how it did on Quantum on every ship that has it, I think it was totally worth it! All the spots I used the WOW band to get our diamond drinks I didn't have to take it off. We'll find out the consistency in the future! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Wow you were on the ship one week before me! Too bad we didn’t get to see you. Although I’ll tell you hundreds of folks on our sailing got sick - some covid positive some negative but all the same symptoms. So I guess good you weren’t on our sailing. 🤪
We were on the same cruise/ship last year in May 2022. Seattle is okay for a port but the best way to cruise Alaska is to fly into Anchorage and cruise out of Whitier. As soon as you step off the plane you are right there surrounded by snow and mountains. When you leave out of Seattle, it's two days before you actually start seeing Alaska. I liked the Whitier sailing better. We've sailed to Alaska three times.
Hi! My advice is to pack layers to be prepared for varied weather. Some days were somewhat warm (80s) and some days were pretty rainy and cool (50s and rain). Definitely check the weather forecast as it gets close to your sail date and look at the specific weather for each port of call because it can vary a lot through out the week. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
I think its time for bed. I was screaming Straight of Juan de Fuca lol. I want to thank you for the video. I'm taking my mother on our first Alaska cruise...first cruise ever in summer of 25. I think I heard you right. I need a passport? I'll add it to the list
Great video guys! Alaska is one of our favourite holiday destinations! We are also in one of those cool corner rooms on Odyssey of the seas in late October sailing the transatlantic cruise from Rome to Fort Lauderdale, really looking forward to it and it's great to see videos on that category of cabin. Ours is level 8 on the left front corner. Can I ask - what is that phone/camera mount that's on the cabin window? I'd love to try and get one of those timelapse videos on our cruise :D
Yay! We hope you love the room! It's such a cool cabin and Odyssey is a fantastic ship! We use an iPhone 14 Pro and the mount is a Tenikle Tripod Mount! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
@@HoffmanHappyTravels Thanks for the info! Looks like a really cool tripod for travel. We leave in two days so won't have time to order one, but I will for sure put it on my wish list for next trip. Looking forward to it!!
I know you've already completed your Alaska cruise 2-3 weeks ago, but at this point - leaving Seattle - you have *no idea* the majestic and rustic beauty that is coming up in Alaska.
I have sort of a strange question: how does one walk from their room to use the pool? Are guests allowed to walk shirtless until they reach the pool? Or do you walk fully clothed to the pool, then take off your shirt and just find a bench or place to place your top? Or do they have lockers near the pool?
Hi! Walking shirtless or in a swim suit to the pool is fine and it's also fine to leave your shirt and other items on a nearby pool chair. Either or both options are fine. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

Love the WOW band. Had them on Oasis and Symphony. We needed the card key for getting off and on the ship. We got purple
Nice! Same for us too, we had to have our card to get off the ship! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

We only used the bands once, when we purchased them. I loved them....but we just never took them on other ships again.
Hi! I could totally see forgetting them for future cruises! We loved them too! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

Also can you guys do a video of staying up for 24 hours
I know you've already completed your Alaska cruise 2-3 weeks ago, but at this point - leaving Seattle - you have *no idea* the majestic and rustic beauty that is coming up in Alaska.
Hi tscoffey! It's so true! It was so amazing, unlike anything we've ever seen before! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢

Was the food good? For some reason I have read bad reviews of the food on quantum of the seas.
Hi Marie! We enjoyed all the food we had on Quantum! We didn't have any issues! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
