I think the market you should buy is in Oshawa, with the University in the college driving the city, General Motors just added another shift and will be hiring, Toyota built a big factory warehouse 5 km to the east in Bowmanville, With the expansion in the north to make the largest outlet mall in the province, there are so many things happening here. It’s also 40 minutes from Toronto which is great to visit and enjoy the city
Useful video, I wonder though for 1st timers looking for locations what's the attraction of St Thomas if I have to compete with 9,10, 12+ offers of a property. Surely I'd look elsewhere, what are the tips - simply offer above asking???
Great video once again. I'm always wondering why northern Ontario is left out of the great places to invest. Currently, southerners are buying up all the property they can In the Greater City of Sudbury. Properties that were going for $300k a couple years ago are going for $430k to over $500k. I think one of the biggest factors is the mining industry here is ramping up for something big and creating a lot of jobs. There's also a casino/arena complex supposed to be built. It has been stalled though. I don't know why. Anyways, love the videos guys. You are sharing invaluable knowledge.
I lived in North Bay as a kid, and I'm thinking about moving back that way to retire as well. Has the relocate met your expectations and do you have any recommendations?
@@ryanwilliams7270 Congrats and thanks for the quick response. I'll have to sell my three places in London to clear that kind of money, but at 54, I need a change and the Gateway is beckoning. At 35 you're probably a lot more tolerant than me, but do you find the area to have a lot of the "big city" problems up there these days?
The Niagara Region is now heavily congested because of the overbuilding of housing and the recent influx of people, especially former Hamiltonians who have been displaced by former Torontonians seeking cheaper houses in Hamilton. If you have to drive to Toronto, expect a three-hour commute from the Niagara Region on the QEW on weekday mornings. No longer recommended as a place to live.
Matt McKeever information you provide is priceless but you definitely want to check your friend youtube course (of Graham Stephan). Already long video created even longer with these inserts, audio is horrible, too much not related to the title information. I would definitely recommend re-editing this video. Thank you for the effort and information.
in this one hour video i learned about several cities in ontario, interviews with locals, breakdown of historical and economic aspects, and investment opportunities. this was a great video.
I’m sorry if I don’t respond to every comment - guess I’ve just been busy releasing a video a day of the highest quality content available to Canadians in my subject niche for FREE... But please go on with your entitled ramblings and complain some more
well i heard what they said about Sarnia like the queen st area being worth 1200 its drug infested and regular break in's you can find needles on front lawns ya people ask that good luck getting it. But its advertised that way. Id say you will get burn in this town unless your near the new Catholic high school where people want to be..but hey good luck other wise. if you want good advice walk into any town and say hey i want to move xxx would you to any one there is a good answer. The reason every community, not just these ones, not just in Canada is seeing flips or renos turned into duplexes/triplexes or other infill developemtn, part lot severances / smaller lots is simply tied to the Political will and policies in place mandating more units, on the same amount of land period, under the UN agreements for Agenda 21/2030. So you mean govt. agenda going ahead is to make more and more high density houses than single detached homes ? Or they already made the policy no more single detached in gta or London or Canada for that matter?
@@Lj22 Basically that is correct and it has been in place since at least the mid 80's when what I referred to was openly discussed and policy put in place. You will see and notice more large buildings and DENSITY type developments over the years.

Hi, can you please make a video on how we can buy house in Sarnia, how much mortgage per month everything about that. Thanks 😊
Great video like always Matt! I think it was great for us to know there's more than just London and Windsor! The limo tour today was also amazing
This is super helpful as someone in Western Canada with no insight into eastern Canada for buying opportunities!
Did the Florence street renos include collecting all the needles and crumbling concrete on the front lawn? I only saw interior photos.
Would you suggest any areas in Alberta for REI?

Great video! My family has some farms up that way. Would be nice to have some investment properties outside the US as well.
