🍰 LAYER CAKE 11 QUILT PATTERN TUTORIAL 🍰 | Fast & Easy 90 Minute | Beginner Friendly

☀️ WELCOME! ☀️ Is your LAYER CAKE 🍰 stash out of control??? Mine is and it's time to make some quilts! I'm so excited to share this tutorial. The quilt top took a total of only ❗️*90 MINUTES*❗️ start to finish. A fast, easy, beginner-friendly way to get some LAYER CAKES moved on to their next life. Potentially, you could use TWO layer cakes (42 ten-inch squares each) to make THREE complete quilts! Stay tuned as I continue to work through my layer cake stash! LAYER CAKE USED: Robert Kaufman Flowerhouse Pretty Sweet Layer Cake by Debbie Beaves SKU:TEN-955-42
MEASUREMENTS: You will need 28 ten-inch squares.
Cornerstones - two(2) 10-inch squares, cut into 2.5 inch squares (there will be a few extra)
Sashing - ten(10) 10-inch squares, cut into 2.5 x 10 inch strips
Focus blocks - sixteen(16) 10-inch squares
The finished quilt is 48 inches by 48 inches.

Beautiful. You need a stripology ruler. They are so nice to work with. Reduces cutting time and stress on wrists. I like the no waste and ease of construction with the layer cakes thanks
