I run the same tires and size on my 19 silverado. Mine has a 6" lift and I love it. They're a great tire and not loud going down the highway. Great choice my friend! Keep up the hard work, it's paying off. 🍻
I completely agree with your comments on the gas engine. I have grown up knowing that sound of a V8 growl. Muscle cars, trucks, SUV's, even V6's that now have the output of V8's of the past generations. It has always been my aim to take my muscle cars to tuning houses and up their game. It is a shame that we could possibly be witnessing the end of not just an era, but dreams. Keep up the great work! Keep up the dreaming!
i am currently running a 295/70R18 General X3(stock trail boss wheel). at stock height it did not rub at all. no issues in ether lock. i added an 1.5 lift with some 2.5Fox shocks and upper A-arms(wanted to level and remove rake). they did not fit. the tire was in full binned with the A-Arm and the tire would not spin. needed to get a set of .5in spacers, and only rubs when i back up in 3/4 to full lock. other than that, Zero issues and they are supper quiet down the road.
I have a hard time believing the electric will actually completely erase gas. Government subsidy is propping them up and just don’t see long term success in replacing the V8. What’s old is always what comes back as cool.
Don’t forget big oil won’t let it happen, they have too much invested in normal cars. Electric cars have been around forever and just now stat to take off, what happens when we run out of precious metals for the batteries?

I think you should go with gloss for splitter, side skirts, and diffuser. But carbon fiber would make it more your own ...but how would it stand up to 120 mph bug impacts?
Just put 295/60r20s on my stock height trail boss!! Just had to remove the front mud flap and the bracket behind it. My fit is very close and that is with a 34" tire. A 35 would be very snug without a level
Seeing you’ve already done the wing in carbon fiber do the rest in carbon fiber to match. If you hadn’t done carbon fiber I would have gone glossy. You are making the ride your own. Everyone is going to have their opinion of what it should be like. Me personally would have left everything glossy. I personally like everything matching. The ZL1 is definitely a nice ride.

I got 18 zl1 1le in the rears rocking Michelin pilot super sport 345/30/19. no rub at all. But idk it will rub on the regular zl1. I heard rear fenders are little wider on the zl1 1le than the regular zl1. Not sure if it’s true.

@@neloner623 pretty sure gas is not on life support where I am from you would be lucky to find 2 electric cars and I say 2 bc a doctor and his wife have one that’s it and they also have a Ford Expedition in there garage and a Ford F-150 that’s it no more ev cars around I will never buy an ev car it doesn’t serve a purpose in the country if I lived in the city yes probably but not out here and with all the afm/dfm auto magic shut off and my wife’s little 4cycle that sounds pretty efficient to me gas cars have come a long way since the 60-80s if everyone was to go to electric it couldn’t happen they would be burning fossil fuel to keep up with power demand so we’re are we winning we not the gov. is plus I pretty sure diesel had to keep generators going when ev cars couldn’t charge bc of massive outages due to cold weather plus let’s say you are on a camping trip or in field checking on crop or fence and oops battery is out of charge what would it take to charge your ev on 40+ acres of land to get back home …… sorry I will have my gas powered drag car and truck intel the day I die….sorry … but like I said IF I lived in city and didn’t need a real truck I would probably have an ev nothin Tesla tho thank you

Frustrated that you couldn’t order the 1LE package without the spool valve suspension; it’s just not practical for a car you plan on driving on local roads 99% of the time. So expensive piecing the rest together one at a time
I agree, but went a head with buying a ZL1 1LE with no regrets. It's a firm ride and is rough on bad roads. Average and good roads I don't even notice it.
Don't worry dude you'll get to enjoy the awesomeness of combustion engine just give them the camaro when it's old cause the government can't get rid of gas because it would be like ford demolishing all there old mustangs because there gas, that's destroying automotive heritage we'll all just keep the old cars alive

I totally agree with you. A Tesla Plaid may have "ludicrous speed", but nothing beats the roar of a supercharged V-8.
