There’s a lot of work in preparation that goes into reinforcing the frame you did a damn good job I just did the same thing a couple months ago I went through several tanks of argon mix and several spools of wire I did a 58 impala frame on my channel you guys are so awesome you guys rock

Bobby is too cool for school. I got the Hoppo's frame kit, it seems to fit better than what you have. I had to do some trimming and filling with it also. Great videos.

Nice tip on welding all 3 pieces together.
Tell Bobby my buddy RIP was a Electron Beam Welder and the test was to weld a 12" thick block for the test. He had one cut apart in his garage. At work he welded Helicopter drive shafts.

Great work bro! I got that same plasma and the first one kept shutting off on me. Sent it back for a replacement and it’s worked great for two years. I’ve cut 3/16, 1/4 and 3/8 with no problems and did my regal frame with it.

Tie rods…. Isn’t the issue for stock power steering set up? Not manual linkage.🤔I haven’t got that far yet with my hippos kit but curious.

Yes. Depending on how thick the cross member is and how close u get the plate to the frame, could make for a bad day

You should have gotten a yes welder plasma. My 55 cuts half inch steel. It was $350
